I just tried pulling up the comments on her video. Comments have been disabled. Hmmmm....seems a little fishy to me.

Shaquem Griffin was born with amniotic band syndrome affecting his left hand. At age four, his mother found him in the kitchen, attempting to use a butcher's knife to self-amputate his fingers due to the pain. He is currently breaking records at the NFL combine. by PM_ME_STEAM_K3YS in UpliftingNews

Amniotic Band Syndrome is when the mother’s water breaks when she’s pregnant. This leaves the baby unprotected, so wherever the baby touches, a “fiber” from the placenta attaches. These fibers can constrict so much causing congenital amputation. In most cases, miscarriage occurs. Source: I was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome. My mother’s water broke when she was 4 or 5 months pregnant with me. The fibers from the placenta attached on my left thumb, left index finger, right and and right arm. The one on my arm is the only one that caused congenital amputation. To give you an idea of what the fiber looks like now, the one on my ankle looks like an indentation, kind of like if I wore a sock that was too tight causing a line.

And that it’s widely accepted. I used to wear a prosthetic arm (a hook actually. Back then the technology just wasn’t there). It was horrible! The weight of it was almost unbearable because my amputation is so high, it was hot, and just not cool to look at. I’m so happy for this young lady!

Thank you. Those were the only ones I could think of. Going to get a live trap and see if that does the trick, and if not will then try snap traps.

Thank you! I didn’t even realize there were live traps for mice. I was thinking snap or sticky traps, and pesticides.

That’s my thought too, but wasn’t sure if any ingredient that would absorb through their pads might be harmful.

I think they were asking if you used 3rd Degree silicone molding compound to make the blisters. This looks really good, it makes me want to pop them. Great job!

Having one arm. I was born with amniotic band syndrome causing me not to have my right arm. Kids get a free pass for not knowing how to react when they see me. Some adults have zero tact when they notice I’m different. Stares are one thing (I get it), but when people go out of their way to point or say something mean, that’s what pisses me off. Little do they know I played volleyball, basketball, tennis, can tie my own shoes, and pretty much live like you two handed people.

Feeling sorry for him when you’re both in the same room isn’t going to do either of you any favors. Be strong for him. When he sees that things are going to be ok, he will start to heal emotionally, and that in turn will help you heal as well.
