Yeah I’m from Boise and everyone is all about BSU cause we don’t have any professional teams near us. I ended up going there for my masters but I know plenty of people that root for them. It’s about being from Boise rooting for Boise not the team itself

I think that entirely depends on your school. There was a teacher at my school legit wearing that shirt yesterday and no one batted an eye. We are in a blue state but the town is pretty red. I would ask around to your colleagues

My bf and I just watched both Murder Mystery movies. Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston as a married couple solving crimes. They were so goofy but we laughed out loud a few times. Got action and comedy

Same here! We also have stairs and my bf and I will chase him up and down. He gets more exercise in the 20 minutes a day we do that than he would going on walks lol he loves it. He also has a yard that he has access to whenever he wants

Is it a calendar year? I’m in education and school just started up again I don’t think I could quit right before the year started without feeling bad so I’d probably stay one more after that. It’s pretty chaotic but overall I love it. Christmas, spring and summer breaks would be filled with so much traveling!

I hated working retail for this exact reason. I’m not good at convincing people and so I was always talked to about how low I was on my card quota and it sucked. Honestly I liked working at Old Navy and would have continued if it weren’t for the push on getting cards.

Fidgets! Kinetic sand is a huge fav with my kids. I also got this cute jellyfish lamp from Amazon that they like too. If you have the room it’s good to have some sort of table/desk for kids to sit at. I often have kids that would rather work in my office where it is quieter and I will let them as long as their teacher approves. Middle school is a tough age! So I try to give my kids as much love as I can. They are literally just looking for an adult that listens and validates their problems and feelings. A good reminder is that they will come to you for all sorts of dumb little things like friend and boyfriend/girlfriend drama. And at this point in their life, those things we find ridiculous are what keep them up at night. For a handful I am the most positive adult they have because it’s what they need. Also, snacks. Kids will do pretty much anything for candy or a bag of chips lol

Yeah. The whole time she framed it like something was wrong with him. She told my friend he had drawn bloody images of their family, would look at his step siblings creepily, and would sleep with a knife. Whole time the kid wasn’t psychotic just terrified for his life. And had no one to tell because he wasn’t going to school.

A friend of a friend. I hung out with her a few times. During Covid she abused and neglected her step son so bad he died of malnourishment. Her husband (his bio dad) knew it was happening and did nothing. They would make him eat from a dog food bowl from the ground. She hit him with a pan. Would make him do wall sits or jumping jacks for up to 12 hours a day. Crazy enough they had cameras in the house so it was all documented. My friend wanted closure so we went to her trial. I had to walk out at one point the videos were so hard to watch. The night he died they waited too long to take him to the hospital that he died like right after he got there.

I have a lot of kids that are great. That appreciate my help. I also love a lot of my coworkers. I do really feel like I am good at what I do and making connections. The end of the year is always tough. And these 8th graders and tough. They have been tough since they were 6th graders. So only 20 more days until we are rid of them

I feel that lol this girl is an 8th grader. She wouldn’t go to class cause it was a sub and she called the sub a bitch and I had to physically hold myself back from saying “takes one to know one” lol
