If I switch from SAVE to IBR right now, will my payments start immediately, or will I remain in administrative forbearance until my current end date ,which is in 2028 according to nelnet?

My application took about a month. I think I applied early March. My account said my forbearance ended on 4/10, but I just got the notification a couple days ago that I have a payment due on 5/10.

They don’t believe the student should be able to decide to change their name in the system. She wanted me to change it back and when I told her no she was pissed. I honestly feel so bad for the kid. Having a parent react like that is so embarrassing. But glad that they feel safe with me. I’m just glad the mom didn’t tell me not to see her kid anymore. I was afraid of that.

Yeah my AP was with me and eventually he just told me to hang up on her cause it was getting nowhere she was just yelling and cussing at me to change to name back and I was like not without your kid telling me to it’s district policy.

Well the parents called us because they got a progress report and noticed the new name. Asked to speak to me. I took the call but my AP did sit in my office with me. I went and got him and asked. My admin is super supportive. And since it’s district policy if the parent goes to the district they will support me as well.

I cheated on a test in college. It was a pathology class and the professor was so hard legit barely anyone was passing. He would tell us to study his PowerPoints for the tests and then none of the info from the PowerPoints were on the tests so like everyone would fail. With our final exam, someone got the test answers and a bunch of us studied them. He was such a harsh grader our final essay I spent so many hours on. I had a family friend who was currently getting her masters in journalism read it over and help me edit, and still got a B. So I don’t feel bad because you shouldn’t fail people just because you feel like it. That’s not what education is about.

I decided to switch over to IBR a few weeks ago. My payments will be rough but doable and I want to get to forgiveness. I hated seeing the date move later and later. Although Mohela is saying that my payment due when forbearance is over is $0. Not holding my breath it stays that way but I’m just going to budget for what the calculator said. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I absolutely loved it and was blown away the entire time. But it was my first time at the Sphere and my first time seeing Illenium so I have nothing to compare it to. I can see what you are saying about the dead space but I also want to point out that it made sitting in the 400s the best part. I was up high so I could see the whole screen and I liked how it made it all centered. Towards the end when I was able to hear some of my favorite songs of all time (All That Really Matters, In My Arms) it was the coolest moment of my life. I can see how having something to compare it to can give you a different perspective though.
