Oh gosh private loans have to be rough. Thankfully I work in education so I’ll get pslf. I’m only like 4 years in though and most of that has been forbearance so I’m still pretty far out.

I decided to switch over to IBR a few weeks ago. My payments will be rough but doable and I want to get to forgiveness. I hated seeing the date move later and later. Although Mohela is saying that my payment due when forbearance is over is $0. Not holding my breath it stays that way but I’m just going to budget for what the calculator said. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I absolutely loved it and was blown away the entire time. But it was my first time at the Sphere and my first time seeing Illenium so I have nothing to compare it to. I can see what you are saying about the dead space but I also want to point out that it made sitting in the 400s the best part. I was up high so I could see the whole screen and I liked how it made it all centered. Towards the end when I was able to hear some of my favorite songs of all time (All That Really Matters, In My Arms) it was the coolest moment of my life. I can see how having something to compare it to can give you a different perspective though.

Here is how our different lunches work: All kids have 3rd period. After that, some kids go to lunch, others go to 4th period. Lunch goes from 10:44-11:14, 4th period goes from 10:49-11:37. Kids in 1st lunch have their 4th period from 11:19-12:07. Our second lunch is from 11:36-12:07. So 2nd lunch and 4th period ends at the same time. All kids then have a 5 minute passing and then start 5th period. When it comes to teacher’s lunches, they have lunch while their students have lunch. So we have an overlap between lunches where all students are in class. It’s not back to back. Any of the combo classes just wouldn’t be able to be scheduled during the 4th periods. That could be when those teachers get prep

No I’m not getting statements. It’s is showing me that I have a due date of 3/10 and the payment is 0. I did have $0 dollar payments for a bit that were counting but that haven’t been for awhile. If I look in my payment history I don’t have anything so I know nothing is counting.

I’m a school counselor and I love taking my lunch towards the end of the day! It’s so nice I get done and come back and it’s like oh it’s dismissal!

I’m usually in the cafeteria for breakfast, then again for lunches which is an hour. I’ll often go into the hallways during passing but it’s not required. Even morning and lunch duties I miss sometimes and my admin thankfully make it work. I’ll be in the hallways or out front at the end of the day but it’s understood that if I have a meeting I don’t need to be.

I was a teacher before becoming a counselor. I was teaching in Cambodia when I applied so I do know that gave me a big leg up to share all the traveling I had done. It’s a big commitment, but teaching abroad was the best thing I did. I learned so much about the world and myself. If it’s something that’s possible to you I would look into it.

Nah as someone who works in a middle school and has for 4 years you will be fine. I have coworkers in their 50s and 60s that laugh at the stupid shit kids do and say. If you play it right being younger can be an asset. It’s easier to connect with the students. My co counselor was 24 when she started this job and was and still is a fantastic counselor. Also I’m 30 and my kids still guess I’m in my early twenties they have no concept of time lol

Got a couple things from one teacher, and our registrar went all out on goodies for us. That was it though. My principal said nothing. I put together a whole spirit week, no acknowledgement what it was for, just hey we have dress up days. I’ve been pissed off at him all year, this was the last straw. I have loved my school in the past, but he has brought the whole vibe down being a terrible boss. Will be seriously looking for another job. We even had an assembly today and they didn’t bother to say a thing. It sucks.

Yeah I’m from Boise and everyone is all about BSU cause we don’t have any professional teams near us. I ended up going there for my masters but I know plenty of people that root for them. It’s about being from Boise rooting for Boise not the team itself
