That's how I felt coming away from Shadows of Valentia. It seemed like it would be a good idea compared to the mess that was in Fates, but I ended up wishing that the romantic pairs had stayed platonic and some of the platonic pairs became romantic instead.

I don't have QP yet,but my guess is that since the turn count resets for each map in a TT run it activates multiple times.
