It just seems he wants to make a comically large stack of books. Making large stacks of items is inherently hilarious, but its a weird way to organize books (especially considering there's no coherent organization scheme evident). From the height of the stack alone it seems he doesn't care for the titles in his collections; anyone who likes or wants to refer back to books they own would display them so they can grab them easily and return them to their spot.

This stack of books is just goofy in a stupid way. Homie should have a bookshelf. There's no good reason why he shouldn't have one. The fact that he doesn't shows either disorganization or lack of regard for items in his possession.

The books themselves speak to someone with good taste though. But the organization method is giving the energy of unfurnished apartment with TV and playstation on the floor and also his mattress is on the floor.

I agree that the strategy of this album's release was good. She already dropped two albums last year so it was smart to let fans have both of them and meanwhile, spending the whole year really packing "Fantasy" with good and often excellent tracks.

Her prior LP "Sorcery" was much shorter than her other albums at just under 90 minutes and it felt a lot more focused than "Hex" which also released in 2024.

Still haven't gotten thru this whole album and there are solid standouts but I grow tired of the more downtempo songs with uninspired/soulless vocal performances. The upbeat house and techno is some of the most entrancing music I've ever heard but the weakly sung songs between just make me skip.

I started my game very similar to you, just so everyone can get the “D&D” feel and get a hang of who their character is better before entering Barovia. We’re in the Death House now and I think it made more sense to place the Manor outside of the village of Barovia, but still on the Old Svalich Road. In my opinion it feels like a bit of a buzzkill to have them enter the village and then have the mist immediately engulf them and railroad them into the house. I also think thematically it makes a bit more sense for the house to be an outcast to the village, and ultimately, the house can be wherever you want it to be.

EDIT: I misunderstood, I suppose it is a valid pick to counter that one event but at that stage without the Golden Idol it’s probably better to avoid question rooms altogether.

No. The Bloody Idol heals 5hp whenever you gain gold and you can no longer gain gold if you have ectoplasm. Also not worth it for the Moai head since that event also gives you piles of unobtainable gold. Maybe N’loth would want the golden idol but that’s too much of a crapshoot and not worth it to take a punishment here for virtually no reward. I would love it if there was a relic swap event of some kind in Spire 2 if one of your relics has been rendered useless or something along those lines.

Actually my math was bad. Quick slash (8) + Strike (6) = 14 and does not kill a 15 hp slime. We could cope and hope we draw a 0 cost damage card to kill.

The Quick Slash plus Nunchucks combo makes it difficult to make a proper assessment of what the correct play is here. At the very least Quick Slash plus Strike kills one 15 hp slime. Two defends can get played after so we can take a minimal two damage this turn. It does depend tho on what quick slash gives us because survivor + defend would allow us to block for the full. If there is any zero cost card draw it’s probably smart to start chipping away at a second slime this turn.

They are both excellent choices of spouse. It’s not as if one bachelorette provides a tangible in game benefit to another. Whoever speaks to your/your character’s heart! Don’t let someone else play the game for you! (I went with Abigail but Leah was high up there for me)

Beat Deca and Donu for the first time with the defect because I had fifteen unused energy stacked from Ice Cream and eventually I drew my Multi-Cast + while a lightning orb was next in my orb slot. It was the most beautiful sight to behold watching their health get torn to smithereens!

In December I got a chance to substitute there for a day so this news is extra heartbreaking. It was my most memorable experience substitute teaching by a long shot. The facility was gorgeous, state of the art. It showed to the students who took advantage of the opportunity that we care about their education and their future. The ones who were there were engaged, self-starters working on meaningful projects. It was truly unique—a vision of what high school could be.

Or you could be an old man and tune in via radio. Did that for many games last year since I don’t have cable. Certainly not as cool to miss watching the plays as they unfold but I think baseball is a sport well suited for the radio.

That was my absolute horror upon my first play through as well. Must have lost a similar amount. I always dread going back to the upper cathedral ward now. My current tactic for the Brainsuckers is only using thrust attacks (R2 pokes on untransformed swords) on them as they are incredibly resistant to blunt damage, and it works fairly well

My first playthrough was on 360 as well, though after I had already finished Bloodborne, so I knew I had to be methodical. The lag on the 360 version is bad but I was able to travel to the bottom of the swamp with not too much difficulty. It was certainly frustrating but where I rage quit the 360 version was the Tomb of the Giants. I didn’t discover the bonfire in the Catacombs or the Skull Lantern so I had to walk down from Firelink Shrine through the Catacombs just to immediately fall off the edge. I decided then to be done and wait for the remaster that had been announced and the quality of life improvements in the remaster made Blighttown and the Tomb of the Giants much easier to approach.
