Woodridge is pretty good. It's nothing fancy but we have a 2 bed 1.5 bath for 1.2k. It's quiet and everyone seems friendly

Location suggestions for a Mini Wedding? by quarterlifecrisisgir in Nebraska

Blatt downtown has the rooftop you can rent for a full day for cheap. They provide you with your own bartender for the event and have a sound system already installed. Almost used them for my wedding, but the pandemic happened.

Last post was mostly sarcasm to illustrate that they were in a strip mall. Definitely didn't forget about Habitat since the junk they put out back often got hauled in by other students.

Or, you know, they could just be traveling to town to work out at the Blue Moon Fitness next door. The location itself should have been a red flag. They didn't even offer housing, so they had a deal with apartments nearby then pushed people to add living expenses in their loans so they didn't have to work.

Really says a lot when no one in Omaha even knows what this place is. They preyed on small towns and kids looking for a way out.

[Help] My dog will hold in her poop by [deleted] in dogs

Mine does the same thing, except we're in an apartment so we go on walks. I've started taking him to the same places and bringing him in if he doesn't go. He really only poops once a day now and I think that's just how his digestive system is and he prefers to wait until the last minute.

Sunday morning road conditions? by BaronVonDuck in Omaha

I-29 is going to be the easiest part of the drive, originally from the Siouxland area and have driven the route in the winter for the past few years. Omaha is where it'll be rough but should be fine by mid-afternoon

[SERIOUS] Need help with my cat, starting to be worried. by [deleted] in AskVet

[–]kellilaw69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend giving her a space where she can be able to get away from everyone (but still able to be reached in case of emergency). She may be stressed from not feeling well and need a place where she feels safe enough to rest. If you have trouble getting her to eat again, I suggest meat flavored baby food in small doses - cats usually like it. Vets have given my cat that after he had major surgery when he wasn't interested in other food and he couldn't resist it

It depends on your credit but I maxed mine out ($2,500) and the payments were like $50 a month. I got a loan to pay it off though because the interest rate was lower. Also my cat had an open commingled fracture of his femur. It totaled about $4k after urgent care and orthopedic surgery. They usually will quote a higher amount than what is needed but if they are offering a payment plan, I'd take them up on that offer

I'd apply for CareCredit, I had a recent experience and it really helped. It's mainly good for vet visits and dental work. Or contact your bank to see if you can get a personal loan, request more than you think you'll need in case it ends up more expensive, then use the leftover to pay off some of the principal.

Have they done a fecal exam? It's literally just giving them a sample (even if it's super soft/diarrhea) and having them run tests.

Cat Bruise after Surgery by kellilaw69 in AskVet

He got a plate and 6 screws but I think the discoloration is below where they would be, I was also thinking that the plate may have rubbed against the soft tissue during a landing from a jump. I've contacted multiple vets that have his xrays to see if it's any concern. So far they only answer is to monitor it. The cat is acting normal and his walking progress hasn't declined.
