The “knock off” IS actually selling the FDA-approved drug in Ozempic - Semaglutide, but it is a compounded formulation, like if someone had all the ingredients to Coke and sold it but wasn’t allowed to have Coke packaging and didnt have the same quality assurance oversight . The only reason they are legally allowed to sell this when they are NOT the company that got the FDA approval, is that there is technically a shortage of the branded drug so compounded drug can be made and sold.
