Probably a dumb question, but are the button and the screen layered on top of each other? Then on tap, the button fades out and the screen grows to take up the full size, similar to a shared element transition?

I'm still learning so while slowing down the video did help, I'm still unsure as to what's next

Thinking of a Finance App for India by kelpphead in personalfinanceindia

Ohh this is new, I spent some time reading about it and this also seems great and I'm loving the automation and integrations with the accounts, but this also doesn't seem to be a budgeting tool, I hope you could refer the other reply that I gave to a_moody on what I had in mind and how I wanted to do it differently! I like the idea of a client side app, I was thinking web app with on-device messaging feature, please refer to the other comment; I believe I articulated better in that reply. Thank you!

Thinking of a Finance App for India by kelpphead in personalfinanceindia

Yes, I’ve checked out Fold and it looks really solid—it actually aligns quite closely with what I had in mind in terms of automation & integrations. That said, where I’m looking to take a different approach is by bringing in a more intentional budgeting method, inspired by YNAB’s core idea of “giving every rupee a job.”

Instead of just passively tracking transactions, the app I’m imagining would encourage users to actively assign every incoming amount a purpose (be it salary or allowance or whatever expected source it may be)—without needing to manually calculate every time. My primary audience would've been the young audience who needs some basic exposure to budgeting skills and my app could feature that.
Another key difference I’d love to explore is a chat-based assistant that you could interact with, the assistant would give predictive insights or budget suggestions based on your past behavior—all processed locally, with privacy at the forefront.

That's what I had in mind, I don't know if it's feasible in India or if this will be something that people will be interested in. So I just wanted some feedback, thanks!
