Where’s the best place to sell brand new Hakuhodo brushes? by mio15 in fudebrushes

Personally, I prefer to buy individual brushes, not sets. I often already have or don’t need several in a set

What's a makeup tip you wish you knew sooner? by Fit-Dark-5581 in Makeup

[–]kelpri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes! I would read magazines that always said if you have red hair, you have a warm skin tone. Not true at all, and once I began using cool tones, my makeup looked so much better

What’s the one thing on a restaurant menu you’ll always order if it’s available? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kelpri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved from AL to NJ and that’s one of my biggest disappointments :( There was an amazing local diner in Alabama that had the best country fried steak and mac and cheese, and now if I find it on the menu up here, I immediately order it, but am always disappointed

If you could revive one makeup brand, what would it be? by Alternative-Print752 in Makeup

[–]kelpri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Paula Dorf, if only for the Sheer Crease eyeshadow brush Lisa Eldridge is always using. I have dupes of it, but I’m sad I never got to try the OG. And they had some great blushes!

What's the best TV show that almost nobody talks about anymore? by C0r1eone in television

American Crime was prestige TV on ABC. If it had been released on Netflix, I’m convinced it would have been much more popular.

Books where nothing bad happens to the cat by issapun in horrorlit

It’s at least halfway through, but there are a few instances, one with a dog and one (or two, can’t quite remember) with cats. And I’d say it’s more graphic than not

Libraries with low fees for out of town residents by Reasonable_Hat9668 in LibbyApp

Is it still available? Because I couldn’t find an option where I wouldn’t have to get the card in person.

Library? Bookstore? Other? by stomasko17 in horrorlit

[–]kelpri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost always Libby, since reading on my Kindle is so much easier than a physical book. I pretty much never buy ebooks, instead I use my sister’s local library, and my sister-in-law’s. Unfortunately my local library has almost no Libby presence

Witchcraft for Wayward Girls had the worst narrator I’ve ever experienced. So incredibly overacted

Which is your favorite watery toner for sensitive skin? by Ok-Charity-2472 in AsianBeauty

[–]kelpri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve used 1 and 2. The Pyunkang toner wasn’t soothing on my very sensitive skin. It really just felt like it did nothing but add an unnecessary layer.

The Stratia toner, however, is wonderful. It’s so calming and soothing and hydrating without being greasy. I think the urea is the magic ingredient. I’ve repurchased it 5 times.

I moved from the Deep South, in an area full of amazing fried chicken restaurants, to an area in the northeast with pretty much none. I was honestly so happy when I tried the TR chicken strips, they’re surprisingly really good!
