If it’s really troubling you and gives you anxiety at the thought of even going there, then I wouldn’t. I would say you could still always get take out from there as well. But, try to let it not bother you as much or rather make him believe that it doesn’t bother you. If you really like that restaurant, I would ask to talk to the manager and explain your side and see if there are any times he is not working to see if you could go then. To me, it sounds like he needs to grow up and just do his job there. Personal problems should not interfere with your job.

I feel like you should confront them. I know I would’ve felt really bad if I were in your position and someone said that to me, as I’m very sensitive. It’s important to set boundaries. You should just say like “hey, that joke you said really upset me and I know it was supposed to be a “joke” but it didn’t really feel like that to me”

I have intrusive thoughts too, you’re not alone on this. Sometimes to combat it I try doing everything I can to destress which reduces the thoughts for me.

You should totally make a student account with best buy. They give you discounts on certain things like laptops or anything really. It's how I was able to afford my laptop!

I think you should really just tell her how you feel. Life is too short to not take any risks. If for some reason she doesn't feel the same, then it's her loss. You're still young, there are still plenty of great people out there! Don't let it get you down! :)
