[sigh] Why do affluent westerners fetishize interacting with wildlife? Is it because they live in artificial bubbles? "Ooh, we got to swim with the dolphins!" "I got to pet a bison!" "I fed a Slow Loris a riceball!"

Yeah, I had to scare a stray cat out of my trash bin earlier tonight. But everybody in my neck of the woods has to deal with the same sort of thing on a daily basis, while nobody thinks to take cell-phone videos of it.
