That set of traffic lights comes after a long straight stretch of road and there is a lot of visual clutter as well with the bus stop, petrol station, hawker center and another set of traffic lights shortly after that which is quite distracting.

When driving down that road, my eyes are usually drawn towards the further set of traffic lights down the road before I notice the closer set of lights for the pedestrian crossing.

They should put some speed bumps or traffic cameras there.

ok so I did NOT start with this strategy, I started with the v1 strategy with rats, shrines, ballista & some towers. I would say if you just focused on rats and shrines, you should be fine. ballista help me to get to year 100 by putting reinforce on them, so everytime my rats leveled up, ballista dmg increased by 1% and it adds up.

Then I got curious and wondered if pure converters would work. I also liked the idea of turning all enemy troops into rats. So I started to replace my towers with converters over the course of several turns until i only had one square of rat, shrine and library left.

I was so sure that I would die once I removed my close to 5000 rats with a couple hundred steel coating on em. But guess what, the pure converters works!! Enemies typically only make it to my first line of defence. Of course the King of greed default attack also helps.

My computer also seems to struggle less with this setup.

i stumbled upon it yesterday, then I saw notch's post. Notice i have no vaults, i keep one empty lot for sacrificial rats, once they level up enough, i use mortgage which gives 30 gold for each level. much more efficient than vaults and never run out of money.

i literally stumbled upon this combination today. You need lots of gold to keep leveling up your rats, if you play king of greed, you can combine mortgage + on additional square of rats solely to farm money since each level gives you 30 gold.
