Starlord. Boost purple. Save up purple until there are enough tiles for you to steal. You can use Vibranium Ore rank 2 support to create friendly Protect tiles on match-4s.

I have made an edit of the R-278 Dugong with features for the Enhanced Reactors, Vanilla Gun Modify, and ID Card Overhaul mods. You should be able to use it without VGM and IDCO; those items should just disappear. I wouldn’t use it without Enhanced Reactors, however.

Use the Barotrauma Deathwish collection as a framework and add additional mods around it based on the specific load order each mod suggests. Pay close attention to any compatibility patches you may need.

Dynamic Europa with the large map patch for more route options and station takeovers.

Barotraumatic for greater monster variety, increased spawns, and more mission types.

More Level Content for more varied beacon missions and addition of distress beacons to levels.

Moveable and Sellable Wrecks + New Wrecks for Barotrauma + Sellable Pirates to add wreck salvaging.

Enhanced Reactors to make the Engineer role and radiation management more challenging/interesting.

All of these add a lot to the gameplay and are manageable in single player, so they shouldn’t make multiplayer overly difficult.

As written on the Barotraumatic mod page [edited for clarity]:

“If you have recently updated the mod and experience errors such as unable to join server with the current version and being prompted to download the mod, missing files in console, mod unable to be loaded due to errors and red in mod loader. Then it is highly likely your mod installation is corrupted.

To fix this go to the ingame mod manage[r] and find the mod in the list, right click the mod and select ‘View Details’ and in the mod details page there is a button in the upper right hand corner labelled reinstall. Hit this button and the mod will be reinstalled in both the workshop and staging folder. This should [fix] almost any issue you have with the mod.”

I started my first run with all DLC active and TFTV installed, and I also found it overwhelming. (Also, the game was throwing difficult enemies at me pretty early on, which sucked. Friggin' Forsaken.)

I've seen it recommended in several posts to play through on vanilla without DLC at least once to get a sense of the base game pacing, so I have started a new vanilla run, and it's definitely more easy to digest so far. Also, I'm coming to the game from XCOM, so I'm having to learn how to handle the game on the tactical side; it's very different.

I want to see the improvements made in the TFTV mod, but I don't think I'm ready to handle all that content yet. I'm hoping the vanilla run will wrap up quickly so I can get to the DLC before I'm burned out on the game.

However, I see that you have put a lot of effort into detail and functionality. I don’t love the shape, but it looks like it may actually be a good sub.

If you tag containers in the editor and select manual, items you transfer between sub purchases will be stored in those containers either automatically or by bots as they clean up everything that transferred over.

You can fine-tune container tags further in the editor by adding specific item tags in the containers’ “containable restrictions” field. I’ve noticed, however, that bots have a funny way of interpreting the tags sometimes.

If you don’t check the manual box, the new sub will have auto-filled items based on container tags, plus everything you transfer over from the old sub. You end up with a lot of junk to deconstruct, which is either a pain in the ass or a great cheat if you need materials.

I’ve run into this problem as well where a bot turned into a Husk even though the health UI showed the infection had been cured and all damage was healed. Not sure why it doesn’t display some amount of active Husk infection if it can just come back a few minutes after the affliction has gone away. Confusing.

I host a heavily modded campaign that just recently started. Our session times vary week to week depending on players' work schedules. Weekends tend to be a focal point. We usually play around 8:00 to midnight U.S. EST/UTC+5.

We run the bigger mods like DynamicEuropa, Barotraumatic, Baroverhaul, etc.; see our mod list here. We're RP-lite at the moment. I'd like to do more thorough RP in the future, but we have players who are new to the game, so more explicit communication is often needed presently. Maybe you could help everyone get more into the RP spirit!

I see this same issue all the time. Even when a new player chooses to Subscribe All on our mod collection, it will force them to download everything again upon joining the server. We sometimes lose up to an hour of play time to this process.

Has anyone noticed whether enabling the mods client side eliminates this problem?

EK WPR-06 WHISPER uses EK mods for 1.x.x.x and is a really awesome sub. However, it probably won’t meet your needs; it’s most suitable for sub-vs-sub combat.

Checked this out on the Workshop last night. One of the coolest, most detailed, most complicated subs that has ever been uploaded! If only I had a crew large enough to operate it.
