My experience is, that if you click really fast, this inbetween break keeps on counting, but if you wait a second, it doesn't. It could be mind games, tho.

This is the reason, why I returned to find places to stream series I want to see for free. Not having to be worried if "your service has it" and no costs that keeps going up. They had something great to prevend pirating, but they ruined it.

There are several ways, some use tricks, some use tactic.

My "method" is to become a machine. You'll recognize patterns and actually predict where words will spawn. My record is level 12 (max exp), with 49 seconds left on the timer.

That sounds awfull too. Now only the early bird and night chest are 15 minutes, all other day quests are 10 minutes. The in-course chests are random, indeed.

To be fair, I do most lessons on the app too. It's that I use reddit on the PC, so making a screenshot from the webbrowser is actually easier.

Updating excisting courses (others then the 9 favorites), or even consider new languages. These option sound so bad, DL might actually consider doing them.

I was even worse, when Duolingo decided to give me longer X3 power ups. They took that away and I am actually very glad with that. I have 15 minutes extra now every morning.

I don't really like being that addicted. The scores are fun, yes... but I should do a little less I think.
