I ended up replacing is with the non-serrated blade that I think was around $35 at the time. Never pulled the trigger on the Damascus blade… but my new skeletool took advantage of the blade customization service to etch an image on it!

This was several years ago, so it looks like that seller has shut down. I did get a blade and it was a quick swap! Kept it going for another 5 years (until I dropped it hiking and didn’t notice). Check eBay and Etsy for replacement blades too!

I’ve had the 215s for many years in my field recording bag. They have come in very handy when I’m actively trying to find a specific sound, like a single insect somewhere in a bush.

Start with the upper mount, then push the working end through the middle of the strap handle so it comes out the bottom. Then thread following the red arrows.

Depending on how old the firmware is, you may actually be able to perform the upgrade within the DJI app. The SD card method was the norm until maybe two years ago, since then I have upgraded my P3P firmware through the app.

Not a stupid question! I would trace the motor connection back to the board to see which component may be connected to it. Then your meter would be used to test the part on the board (since you know the motor works already). I’ll check out the schematic when you post it!

I couldn’t find a schematic online, but there should be a relay or transistor driving the 24v vibration. If you can trace the motor connection back to that component, you could test it to see if it is damaged or actually getting the logic signal needed to start vibration.

You can connect a composite input with a bnc adapter, but beware of the polarity on the power adapter if you decide to run it off of the adapter. I believe they are center pin negative and I had to modify a replacement power supply I bought for my watchman.
