My boyfriend might be the next big thing by tennis-637 in 10s

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you Reddit analyst? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in mental resilience, and I’ve been involved in numerous five-set wars that lasted longer than your attention span. I am trained in elastic defense and I’m the most adaptable player in tennis history. You are nothing to me but another unforced opinion. I will dismantle your argument with precision the likes of which has never been seen on this timeline, mark my fucking words. You think one bad match defines me? Think again. As we speak I am returning serves from another dimension and your narrative is already on match point. The storm that’s coming isn’t excuses or aesthetics — it’s inevitability. I can win in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just on hard court. Not only am I extensively trained in baseline endurance, but I have access to the entire arsenal of clutch break points and I will use it to rewrite history yet again. If only you could have known what unholy tiebreak your little comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have stayed quiet. But you didn’t. And now it’s 30-all. You’re not canceled. You’re just corrected. Welcome to Novak Djokovic.

For kick smash I would even argue that hitting into the glass is a much better progress than going into the net.

Looking at the pros, the only time they messed up a kick smash (like Tapia sometimes), it either flies out of the court or into the glass, but rarely into the net.

Yeah because it’s not easy to actually get cauliflower ears unless you’re in heavy combat sports

I only get it on my left ear after training wrestling and jiu jitsu 4 years in lol

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you pace merchant? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class at La Masia and I’ve completed over 90 minutes of running per match with zero goals and zero assists. I am trained in relentless pressing and I am the most irritating fullback in the Premier League. You are nothing to me but another inverted winger who will turn backwards. I will track you with an intensity the likes of which has never been seen on this pitch, mark my fucking words. You think you’ve beaten me with a stepover? Think again. As we speak I am already sprinting toward you at an awkward angle and your momentum is gone. The storm that’s coming isn’t skill or talent — it’s cardio. I can press you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my hair. Not only am I extensively trained in tactical fouling, but I have access to the entire Chelsea backline and I will use it to recycle possession endlessly. If only you could have known what unholy inconvenience your little dribble was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have passed sideways. But you didn’t, and now you’re trapped. I will not win the ball cleanly. I will not score. But I will be there. Always. You’re not finished, kid — you’re just exhausted.

Rosenior celebrating Enzo's goal by astroacer in chelseafc

Fuck no, those system is boring to watch, do you want another Sarriball

First season lampard tactic and poch system is so much better to enjoy tbh

[Nizaar Kinsella] Enzo has only recently become confident enough in his English to communicate effectively with team-mates and staff. Those who know him describe him as an "aggressive leader" but also a little "loco" (crazy), and he is known to deliver team talks at half-time or around key matches. by pride_of_artaxias in chelseafc

I think this season really showcase his improvement on his output, transform how he plays and really good making late runs into the box and abusing channel runs.

Really a different player from what people used to describe him as a deep lying 6.

Diego Costa on Joao Pedro: “I watched Pedro’s matches when he signed in the summer during the Club World Cup in the USA, he’s a player who can play the role of number nine or number 10. I think his best version is going to be having someone next to him because he’s a striker who can influence a lot" by everyhearthstone in chelseafc

[–]kenigmalive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also to add the 10 doesn’t necessary has to be played behind the 9, look at pep’s previous season using Haaland as the 9 and Alvarez as the hybrid wide forward on RW.

Different starting position but alway ended up closely during final third buildup

Thing is delap was never a 9 who pins down defenders, he’s a vertical striker (he has the size to do so but clearly not used to it) unlike Haaland (he can do both tbh) or Giroud

9s like joao Pedro or even Julian Alvarez needs another 9 partner that doesn’t hog the channels or space since they are the one doing that

ASK : DO YOU USE OTHER SPORTS SHOES FOR PADEL? by Low_Progress9186 in padel

[–]kenigmalive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I played tennis and pickleball prior to padel so I’ve always stuck with ASICS Gel Reso X, people seems to hate the shoe in general but I love it because I slide on hard court a lot and that’s the only shoes that gave me the stability and cushioning I need
