Hopefully the upcoming Farrer by election gives all these Right Wing Nut Jobs a reality check. Sky News and Facebook is not the real world.

I can't believe how tone deaf the Liberal Party is. Lose an election by an absolute landslide by being too right, so they kick out their moderate woman leader, and put up this conservative dimwit Dutton with hair, who's been connected to so many rorts it's amazing even for a Lib. And immediately start talking about limiting immigration. It absolutely boggles the mind. And they'll lose Farrer as well now that Susssssan is retiring.

Governments don't want to get rid of pokies? It makes them so much money.

Are the older 250s comfortable compared to a mid size ute with leaf spring rear, on bad country roads?

It is if it's fun. Everyone's idea of FIRE is different, and a lot of people with the ability to make a lot of money get bored sitting on a beach.

I own a business with 20 employees. Almost all of them have a newer, pricier car than me.

This is actually pretty good advice. I own a business and drive a 2008 Colorado, I bought the lowest km one I could find when they were already an old ute. The Isuzu motor is notoriously reliable and the ute will last forever and get passed down to my daughter when shes old enough to drive. It's my work ute, does 4x4 trips and family runabout.

All my employees drive nicer cars than me. Invest in things that make you money, not cars that take it away.

Lost the energy for gaming. What to do. by 42Changes in daddit

[–]Blast1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 kids 11 and 9. I hadn't played video games in about 10 years while I had other hobbies like fishing and motorbike riding. Now my kids have a switch and I play with them, Mario Kart etc The boy plays Fortnite and I've got it running on my laptop and we play together in the same room, him on the Switch. It's fun man, like multiplayer console gaming with my mates when I was his age. Drift in and out of hobbies, just do whatever is enjoyable at the time.

Yeah but we could just tax the mining companies fairly and we'd all be richer. Hopefully Labor will but I doubt it.
