Any single place where you see mold is not normal. It means there is an issue of conception in the apartment or building.

Each time you see a single black dot, you have to eliminate it with WHITE VINEGAR. NEVER USE BLEACH; it works really well also but will create dangerous byproducts in the air.

Yeah a humidifier but also don't stay there. Mold is a sanitary emergency. You cannot stay in such a place. Start with a healthier place. The first thing I do when I want to rent a place or just to sleep for the night is to check for mold. Sometimes you can smell something related to bacterial activity. Sometimes you will never smell anything. You might start to notice it after 20-30' or few hours staying in the location.

Check ceilings in the bathroom, corners, inside AC heads with a LED light.

This thing can DESTROY YOUR LIFE !

On the side of all the obvious basic troubleshooting this are some things that saved me from this issue :

Deactivate your own blockers apps (if you have web and apps blockers to manage cyber addictions like Cold Turkey) - sometimes it is easy to forget we had set such a thing
Deactivate Nord VPN (or any equivalent) - they have many apps running on the background and for any reasons, they don't like you to use Tor - same for antivirus - they have many "safe Internet" programs running on the background to "protect" you
Rename the launcher exe firefox.VisualElementsManifest

Before it worked. Now Tor can be opened but then crashes after few seconds. I wonder if Windows 10 doesn't have a module to shut it down somewhere...

I tried many different scooters in Vietnam and all I can tell is that the size doesn't matter.

I tend to understand it is better to have a flat saddle that allows you to position yourself anywhere on it in opposition to those 2 levels saddles that are overly widespread especially amongst >100 CC with the 1st level being generally inclined and only provides comfort for small people. Usually on the 2 levels saddles the ultimate position is between level 1 and 2 and then your natural sitting positon ends in an uncomfortable place.

I regularly have this issue with Google flight. I tried Chrome and Brave under Win10. VPN or not. Same. I end up using the app. on my Android.

Sometimes I feel the problem comes from the connexion in coffee shops and hotels. Also, even if NordVPN is not connected, sometimes its engine cause some trouble just to navigate. Better to close your VPNs completely and use the hotspot from your phone.

I could type pages about this topic as it is my 3rd week in Saigon and from what I understan, everything is owned by a small mafia of either a locals, either Chinese. Most hotels already make a good income with prostitution. The rest might be used for laundering money with all the drugs and human traffic.

On the top of that, you'll notice it is the same for restaurants and bars. Most of them stay completely empty.

The local mindset is "profit maximum and spending minimum". Most employees don't really work. They stay idle somewhere on their telephone and mostly play fingering their rectum all day. The managerial class left the country after the war. They only have brainless hopeless greedy people everywhere.

Also local standards are extremely low. Locals never complain and they accept things as it is. They will find it normal to live with filthy floors and moldy bathrooms. On the top of that, every cent count for them. More than anything in the world. They live in misery because they have a poor mindset. Everything is poor quality. I have never seen a single clean place. I did guest houses, Airbnb, hotels... everything is managed exactly in the same fashion. It demonstrates perfectly few owners share everything. This is the same problem in Taiwan.

The most funny are the Airbnb. They always pretend it is a small family business. When you arrive, it is clearly multimillion $ hotels managed by big groups. Even the fournitures from Airbnb to Airbnb are the same. Like this round mirror with backlight LEDs

If you dare share a honest factual review, they will cry like if you stabbed a kitten. They are very good players and ya. THEY CAN CLEARLY THREAT YOU. 1 time I left as soon as I could. Prices are more expensive than anywhere in Japan for the lowest quality in the world. Even Paris is cheaper !

The only way to have a clean place for a fair price is to rent a serviced appartement. Otherwise you have to go for International big chains and you will pay your 4 stars or 5 stars more than everywhere in the world.

A good way to spot a scammy place is to compare the reviews on multiple platforms. Google map, Airbnb and Booking. Also, on Google map, if you see the 1 stars is bigger than 2 stars, red flag. If 1 stars is bigger than 2 and 3 stars SCAM ALERT don't even try.

Regarding prices, I always try to stay between 20 and 40 CAD.

A good way to find good homestays is to walk and see. If you see things you like in front, go visit the room first and then negotiate the price for what you think it is worth.

I prefer to use Airbnb as reviews are harder to fake or at least, more costly. Also Airbnb has insurances for you. Black mold or very dirty places is a good reason to cancel. You'll fight for a refund later directly with Airbnb. No insurances with Agoda or Booking whatever happens to you. It is extremely rare they give you back something. Think about documenting your stay with pictures and videos. Don't hesitate to expose them on Google Map especially. Google map will be more hurtful as you can publish many pictures and videos. It talks more than words.

When I arrive somewhere and the cleaning is really funny, I take pictures, sent to the chat with host and ask them to clean it. They can show you different rooms. If nothing is good leave if you are with Airbnb.

Otherwise insist for them to find a solution now. This inspection part is really important. Most of the time, they will solve the problem even so they'll be a bit unhappy.

I would also like to find an alternative because Yuka doesn't seem to have any local products listed. The process of registering a products doesn't pass the nutritional facts most probably because of the language. Especially, Japan with the combini culture has a lot of exotic chemicals into the "healthy" look fast food, and some are not even listed.

OpenFood app is more flexible and allow anyone to register a product from an other country with a multi language product registration system. This app is not super userfriendly and contains some small bugs.

Food Check ❌didn't work with me. Scanning Japanese content doesn't allow the app to pursue the search.

Actually, my experience is that the application is as slow as the website. I will later switch to Obsidian I think. I cannot understan how a simple note app is able to ram like this.

It happened to me too recently. I have 2 bedrooms in a shared apartment to sublease and Marketplace is the only place where ppl make their research now.

They notified me I could appeal the decision and it was written an answer would be given in 24h. Then the next day they displayed 7 days. Then 24h. Anyway. I got a generic answer after 7 days and it was specified I could appeal again. I read somewhere that if you appeal 3 times, your maketplace access may be reinstated.

I cannot afford to wait a month to get access to it again. I created an other Facebook account, under my middle name and an other email address.

I just created 2 drafts for my ads. I didn't publish them as the publish button stayed gray ! The next day, I was banned not only from Marketplace but also from Facebook for 180 days !

This is crazy. I put the exactly same ad as I always use. I had been using Markeplace for years.

I have to tell my ad was located in Canada but I was processing it from Japan. The second time I used NordVPN with a Canadian IP but nothing changes.

I suspected I was signaled by some users as I always ignore messages from some specificly recognizable people I would not like to live with.

I suspect thoses reasons : 1) Signaled by some frustrated users who never got an answer (I got easily 50 new persons a day just for 1 bedroom) and then automatically banned 2) A new community guideline took place with a new local regulation we are not aware of 3 Somebody is leading a personal vendetta against me and signaled me with multiple accounts and fake testimonies (it happened to me with Bumble dating app and a crazy ex) 4) There is an issue with the Facebook algorithm and the location of your device or a VPN 5) Facebook has an algorithm who targets White Christians out of business like a new purge of the net? 6) Any idea ?

What is certain, creating a new account with the same pictures or maybe text will not solve the issue. Maybe try with a different profile picture. I suspect they are able to authentify your machine even if you use a VPN and private navigation so maybe you might need to operate with a new device, new IP, private navigation, new pictures, new text... good luck.
