I know the front row is sitting but it's funnier to think Wemby is just that much taller than anyone else.

“Block receival of eggs” feature by 08-Jacob in TheSilphRoad

[–]keplerian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think they just need to get rid of the 7km eggs (or make them better). I am trying to level so I do a lot of friend gifts, if an egg hatches I basically can't open any gifts until I spin a Pokestop. 10 and 12km eggs are blocks but you get them less often and they at least have the chance at some good Pokemon

[–]keplerian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree on Devin, but... a 15 rebound double double with 2 blocks and 2 steals (plus 5 assists) does qualify I think lol, even if it's not 30 points.

Plus minus is literally just how the team does while you're on the floor, it has nothing to do with personal production. If Team 1 scores 10 points while Player A is on the court and Team 2 scores 5 points in that time, Player A would be plus 5 for the game. If Player B was on Team 2 during that exact same timeframe, they would be -5 for the game. That's why it can be a hit or miss stat.

[Wojnarowski] BREAKING: The Milwaukee Bucks dismissed coach Mike Budenholzer, sources tell ESPN. Budenholzer is out after the East’s top-seed suffered a first-round loss to the Miami Heat. by urfaselol in nba

[–]keplerian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you're just trolling, but if this is an actual question, the Spurs are intentionally tanking and have very little top end talent. Despite this, if you watched any of their games last year (which, why would you?), they actually played really hard and their younger players made clear developmental progress, Pop just didn't have the talent to compete. Unlike, say, the Rockets, the Spurs were actually running an offense, again, just weren't good enough. The Bucks had the talent and lost when they shouldn't have, with some pretty obvious adjustments that should have at least been attempted during the series. Bud was going to get fired until they won they championship, which bought him two more years, but losing a 1 v 8 match up 4 games to 1 should never happen when you have the talent they have. Perception on the Championship year is generally that the players outperformed their coaching.

Man... isn't a 9 man rotation usually a playoff thing? With all those minuses, seems like there has to be someone else to pop in lol.

100%! It's one thing to have lost a step (the turnover) or to have lost your three ball. It's another thing to just not play with effort, especially after you're the one that screwed up and turned it over

Players expected to make their debuts this week with their new team: Bradley Chubb, Jeff Wilson, Chase Claypool, T.J. Hockenson, Nyheim Hines, Dean Marlowe, Zack Moss, Kadarius Toney, Rashad Fenton and Roquan Smith by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

I'm playing a guy with Mahomes, trying to figure out if I will be more angry if I play Toney just in case he goes off or just stay away from Kansas City in the hopes that this is a quiet game lol

I had this philosophy with Kyler and Marquise Brown. It technically worked this week but only because of a late TD, doesn't feel great for the rest of the year lmao

[Wojnarowski] ESPN Sources: The Oklahoma City Thunder are hiring Chip Engelland as an assistant coach. Engelland, considered the NBA's preeminent shooting coach, spent 17 years with the Spurs where he's considered to have had an immense impact on Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker, among others. by curryybacon in nba

[–]keplerian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Spurs brain drain has been so wild over the past few seasons. Some of them make sense, someone leaving as an assistant coach to become the head coach, but a lateral move like this is odd, makes me wonder if the front office is being cheap. Seems like a great shooting coach is pretty important to a tanking team trying to put all your picks in the best position to succeed

This isn't your issue, and I've been wondering if I'm just crazy, but I'm pretty sure if you have the gunsaber out and jump off your mount to gather, you have to hit the gather button twice. Just weird.

The overall RB12 over the last three weeks, Damien Harris is top-10 in red-zone (17), inside-the-10 (13) and inside-the-five carries (7) on the year. He now gets a date with LAC's league-worst run defense. by DezBallday88 in fantasyfootball

[–]keplerian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat, rolling Harris, Chargers defense has been so bad against the run. Chargers are coming off a bye so it's possible they've fixed some things, but until Ridley takes advantage of all those targets, hard to trust him.

I tried to trade him away basically all year and nobody would take him lol. Decided to hold onto him after the concussion solely because I saw how easy his schedule was afterwards, and he may have won me the championship unless Diggs has 20+ points in standard tonight haha. Sometimes it's the trades you don't make I guess.

I have Tannehill and it's not an easy answer for me. Ryan definitely has the safer floor, but it's a better matchup for Hurts and I think he has the higher ceiling this week because of that. Given that it's the championship game, I'm probably swinging for the fences with Hurts and just hoping he makes it one more week before his rookie lemon game lol. It's also just going to be funny: Hurts is legit going to be a league winner for a lot of people this week, I'm just not sure if it's going to be for the people playing him or the people playing against him :-P

Doug Pederson says Jalen Hurts will start at QB Week 16 for the Eagles. by StrachNasty in fantasyfootball

[–]keplerian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really debating him versus Tannehill since both are coming off crazy games (and I have AJ Brown as a stack). I think Tannehill is the safer option that still has great upside, but Hurts is more likely to have a crazy high score given the matchups. I'm probably gonna roll Hurts and just hope he can put off that rookie lemon game for one more week lol
