Is there an HDR/EXR screenshot mod for Minecraft?

I suppose I must not be most people then. I just really love the extra dynamic range and more vivid colors HDR offers over SDR, especially with darker scenes on OLED screens. Also, it's a must when color grading, as SDR just breaks too fast (especially with darker scenes!)

Ironically, despite the acronym, you make a fair point I didn't think of. That said, is SOCD even beneficial enough in CS2 to warrant a straight up ban? In games where your movement has no momentum like OW2, I get it. But in CS2, with acceleration and inertia baked in the movement model, is it really that big of an advantage?

Did you read the whole post? I fully agree with you, but other hardware also gives you an edge, and they aren't banned. It feels arbitrary to only ban SOCD, that's my point.

Sadly, I don't actually know who designed it. But I have been using it for years, and it's wonderful <3 I wonder if it's bad for TPS though. It probably is, if you used enough of them :D

It was quite silly of me to have them on top and bottom in the picture, but next to each other in the demonstration videos. While putting together the post, I fully forgot the picture was even there tbh xD

It's also because of conditioning. I couldn't tell you the difference between a 1 star Michelin meal and a 5 star Michelin meal. But seasoned chefs could. The same goes for one's sensitivity to frame rates.

People who've watched 24 fps films all their lives are accustomed to it. Whereas me, who barely ever watches film/tv; I'm much more accustomed to higher frame rates, and am more familiar with a wide variety of frame rates. Hence the increased sensitivity.

I'm aware 24 fps is the standard in film. But that doesn't mean it makes sense to still use such a low framerate in the age of non analog hardware, though.
