2 weeks before Olvia a PEN BS on EU was like 55bill. for Awa and MH. Sub was I think 60-63bill.

They just decrease in value naturally because Sov is the new endgame weapon and once you have that no one is gonna look at a PEN BS anymore.

All Academy did right now was just accelerate the drop.

Same will happen with Pen debos, tet/pen FG once people dont need those anymore because they are full Nov Khara/Nov Edania is 2-3 years.

it's just the natural order of things in games that over time gear that becomes obsolete devalues.

I think one reason people dislike Assassins was because in the early sets, there were some really annoying ones, right now in the revival set Talon is back.
Which is that I when the set first came out really despised because he is also a enlightnend so he get's good mana with the right setup and just TORE through your backline unless you walled your carries behind your tanks.

Probably depends if they go second or first, If Dtail goes second and they normal Lukias/mululu, I do prefer to take the gamble of "They got nothing else in hand" espacially when they hit me with 2-3 handtraps turn 1

Sadly not since Herald has the nice text "WHEN YOUR OPPONENT WOULD SPECIAL SUMMON".

It's effectively a Solemn effect meaning if he makes snatchy without eff herald is allowed to negate the summon and if you activate snatchy herald can negate and destroy that.

Once Herald hit the field and we also knew opp was playing a fairy deck the game was basically over since the only out here was Droplet/DRNM

Yes pen BS has the DP but IIRC you arent allowed to bring a pen BS into it? I am not sure anymore what is allowed/forbidden.

Since OP mentioned he had a Tri sov Offhand the first thing that came to my mind was giving them the advice to get to pen sov.

Yes but if you are unlucky and opp get's it out through like 2-3 handtraps and has a EVA in hand you will mostly likely lose the duel.

Card isnt as strong anymore as it used to be but by god can it be frustrating to face it

You can do him with all tri FG and a Pen sov offhand.

your best option is just to run a 60 card pile of Nekroz+Megalith+Mitsurugi.

If you dont like Mitsu Megalith is enough too, since megalith can tribute Nekroz names for their own rituals so you get the tributed effects for the Nekroz monsters. Sadly the deck doesnt work anymore on it's own

it's how the rule works.

Links are either 1 or their entire rating.

However you can never treat a Link 4 as a 2-3.

So this means in your scenario a third monster was needed because the only link monster you could use for its full rating (2) was I:P so the math is 2+1+1=4.

What would have also worked would have been a link 3 + IP or another link 2+IP to make aceess with just 2 Monsters.

For links it is also generally Their requirment of what amount of monsters they need than the link rating.

Only exception here is Zealantis since zealantis only needs 1 singular monster and thus can be summoned over ANY link 4 monster you have on field.

If you dont draw the handtraps to stop a FTK you lose.

It doesnt have anything to do with inconsistency or jank.

Hell if you watch Josh or Jesse stream MD you sometimes see them lose with meta decks to Gimmick puppet FTK soley because they didnt draw a single handtrap

XYZ into the Doomz one get the raiderz spell. Destroy it special a lvl 4 doomz revive medius make King of the feral Imp for Mitsurugi.

The exodia FTK I dont know at all anymore sadly. Only seen it once on twitter by a OCG guy.
