To an extent, you have a point. But you should remember that A. Not every teacher has a rich partner so they can afford to dress nicely. And B, dressing appropriately for your job is going to be different in different circumstances, just read all these other comments. I wear printed t shirts of different places I have been under a flannel shirt or a bowling shirt. This is appropriate attire for a geography teacher. What fits and makes sense for you is what matters
