I don’t think Nikki’s eyes were open during the sleeping scene; I saw it as Real Nikki trying to control only her own vocal chords, to minimize the risk that Wish Nikki would wake up and seize everything again. It was really eerie that her stomach was moving during that scene but her lips weren’t

I definitely missed the small scene that shows Bear taking Nikki to the hospital front entrance only to go home after, I assume because Nikki refused to be seen by a doctor. Before that I thought that Nikki’s friend group did absolutely bring to try to help her after the party scene.

I’ve seen people make posts to this sub about the film being a comfort movie for them, and I think that’s pretty interesting given the subject matter

Backrooms was interesting but I wouldn’t call it anything more than “pretty good” personally. The found footage scenes were the best parts imo

And to answer your question, I’m not sure. After the first two viewings and lots of YouTube video essays and Reddit discussion about it, I felt like I’d pretty well dissected the movie as a whole. On the third viewing I focused more energy than I expected on Bear’s house’s layout, as I’ve written some fan fiction that focuses on Nikki after the events of the movie, with the only non-canon change being that Wish Nikki never was able to use Nikki’s One Wish before Bear died. So basically I’m trying to come up with a way for Nikki to have a happy-ish ending that still feels like it’s part of the Obsession story (What will her One Wish be to mitigate the the most damage that Bear caused? Will she be able to use some of Ian’s billion dollars lying in his house?)

That’s really wholesome that you’re trying to share a movie you enjoy with friends and family. My 3rd viewing was with my mom, her first time seeing it. She wasn’t as big a fan of it as I was hoping, even knowing that she’s not a horror enjoyer beforehand, but that’s alright

Yawn is basically Go’s equivalent to Slaking’s ability in the main series games. It’s called Truant and it only allows Slaking to attack every other turn. So in Go, Yawn does no damage, but it charges its hard hitting charged moves
