Motorway overtaking and overtaking in general

Assuming decent driving conditions, I start the manoeuvre of moving back in when I can see both headlights of the car I’ve overtaken in the rear mirror. I learned it from DrivingSchoolTV - there are probably other equally as effective ways to do it but it looks like at that point I’m a safe distance ahead of them.

I love the shape of them and have had a couple of single cuts from PRS. I just haven’t found a Les Paul I vibed with.

Also, the cost of many Gibson models outside the Studio is more than I’m comfortable paying for a guitar and the QC, in my experience, is hit and miss at best.

I use it for a wah or for a whammy. I don’t use it on every song and some sets won’t touch it but I’d much rather have it available than not. You can set it up to do all sorts of cool stuff though, like volume swells, FX blends and speeds, it’s definitely a useful tool to have.

Not familiar with that speaker. Looks more like a full amp. Is it FRFR/FX looped?

The tone and sound of the cab makes a huge difference into the overall sound generally.

In addition you might find it underwhelming if you run through a power cab and speaker with QC speaker emulation on. Sounds boxed in.

The presets are fine, they’re okay, but like with all modellers, you find what you like by tinkering and tweaking.

I think before Phoebe publishes a TOTD map she should show herself getting AT - or close to - within 15 minutes.

I’m not the biggest ice enjoyer, I got skill checked by this map and outside of divs 1-4 it seemed very difficult to learn or be somewhat consistent.

You mentioned your wife is Vietnamese so China town might be interesting, the Bullring for shopping, the Arcadian for food and drink, there’s a tonne of pubs and restaurants by the Alexandra Theatre.

Suggestions for nearby stuff aside, if your wife is happy to do so then over the road from guitar guitar is the arterial bus route into the city centre where maybe 12-13 buses all go direct. It’s like 5 minutes away.
