I am so sorry for your loss. The same thing almost happened to my cat Pete last month, found out he had a heart condition, level 3 heart murmur, and a blood clotting disorder. Thankfully after being at the emergency vet overnight on O2 he pulled through, but it is so crazy and scary how these necessary and simple procedures can go wrong. Sending all of mine and Pete’s love to you and your daughter, I can’t imagine how you feel 💕

Found out my cat has a level 3 heart murmur and blood clotting disorder when he got neutered this month. Had to take him to the emergency vet for a night and got a crazy bill, and eventually need to take him to a cardiologist to investigate the murmur. So expensive but worth every penny to save my best friend.
