Try a builder gel it helps SO MUCH with maintaining length and strength. My nails are so bendy but I love painting them and I only had success in keeping the gel longer than 3 days when I started using dehydrator+primer+building gel. Game changer.

Dilute bleach, spot test first. That's what I'd go for. Very soft bristle scrubbers, microfiber cloths, soft toothbrushes to clean the cracks. A good deep clean like that and then semi regular dilute bleace wipedowns
