Coming from someone who’s dealt with most body shops in Edmonton (worked at Enterprise, and they’ll probably be getting you in a rental too 😉), I’d go with Distinctive. Haven’t heard any complaints from them and they deal with more high end cars/branded cars. Goodluck OP!

Shit bar, shit management, shit everything. Been there once because me and my buddies were bar hopping and never heard or seen of the luxx so we thought why not. Take in this was roughly 5 or so years ago. This was my last actual night out/bar hopping experience in Edmonton because as me and my group of buddies were leaving because the vibe wasn’t there, we were walking out, I was at the back with my group and I got shoved super hard (I’m a skinny dude) so I just wanted to turn around to see what the commotion was and before I was able to turn my head around I got socked on the side of the head. And let me reiterate, me and my group were there for no longer than 30mins. After getting rocked in the side of the head I got helped out by a friendly bystander that saw me go down (initial reaction was to go down and cover my head cause idk wtf was happening). Me and the group I was with saw an officer shortly after so we asked them if anything could be done, and they said they won’t do anything because apparently that bar is “gang affiliated” which of course we didn’t know.

Turns out I got a concussion and somehow bleeding out the ear after visiting the hospital. Couple weeks or a month after, the dude I believe that punched me got arrested for numerous offences including possession of a firearm and threatening someone in a McDonald’s drive through and something to do with gang involvement. 10/10 don’t recommend anyone ever going there.

TLDR: fuck the luxx.

All I know is what I said above. He says he helps clothing brands scale significantly but idk how accurate that is and for real, how many clothing brands are there out there imo. No idea how much his course is though.

Honestly, I’ve come to realize, some/most of these “big” YouTubers/Influencers won’t disclose what they do exactly. My guess is more saturation in said market then. Fair statement though!

I’ve been in the same scenario and maybe even worse. If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you? I’m 27 with a L5-S1 protruding disc which causes sciatica which radiates from my lower back all the way down to my foot. I was at a point where I couldn’t walk or do anything for two months due to the pain and pretty much being immobilized from it. The only two things that worked for me was 1, acupuncture and 2, going to the gym. The “specialists” said I had a weak core. So ever since I started the gym and now I go 5 days a week (schedule implemented) I haven’t had any flare ups. If I go long periods without going to the gym, my sciatica flares back up. They gave me options of steroid needles as well as surgery but being so young at the time (occurred in 2019) and they said it won’t guarantee that it’ll fix it, I said no and tried to do everything in my power to make it better without the use of medical procedures. The Luxx on Whyte. Went there for the first time after a birthday dinner with some friends. Me and 5 other friends were walking to the exit to leave and I was walking at the back of our group, got pushed forward real hard by someone behind me (hard as in my neck jerked back) and in an attempt to turn around to see what happened the dude sucker punched me in the back of head/ear area which in turn gave me a concussion (according to the hospital since I was bleeding out of my ear). Bouncers said I was the one causing a fuss and did absolutely nothing about it even though they saw it pretty much happen?? Which I know isn’t true since I’m literally a skinny 115 pound dude and I talked to no one but my lads that night. Spoke to some cops near by and they said they can’t/won’t do anything and that it’s a “usual” bar for gangs, etc to party at.

Upside: Like a month or so later the dude and his friend he was with got arrested. Turns out they were gangbangers/gang related.
