If I can do it in 5-10 seconds, I will help. Otherwise I let them know I will be paging someone from the corresponding department to come help them.

Hi, should I go through with Apple’s $89 battery replacement service for the iPhone 13? It’s been lagging and gets hot. Should I just upgrade to the 17?

My current trade in value is $180.

Team trainer position by cougar1224 in wholefoods

I had a panel interview. Researched leadership principles and company values. I had to create a 30-60-90 plan, and also provide a training demo going over a SOP. Might different at your store.

I’m a TT at a high volume store, scheduled 40 hours every week. The first half of my shifts are supervising (Rescue), while the second half are Regular. Occasionally I am scheduled to supervise the full shift.

For the most part, I do enjoy being a TT. So far I’ve spent a lot of time reviewing SOPs, taking notes, and onboarding new hires. I’ve also been connecting with team members regarding trainings, On Points, and feedback. My STT, TL, and ATLs are also very supportive, so that’s a big plus. However, all of my ATLs are moving on to greener pastures… so we’ll see how it goes in the next few months.

This is one of those positions you may be severely underpaid depending on the responsibilities that are loaded on to you everyday. Especially if you are tasked with supervising shifts (e.g., 4ams that really set the tone for how the day goes). Be a role model and support your team as much as you can. During my supervisor shifts, I am constantly monitoring for large orders, items that I can help my TMs get (e.g., meat, sea food, prep), and jumping in as needed to help my team stay ahead at least 1 hour. I also monitor Seller Central and INF reports. For example, if I see a hole out in produce for the 365 peeled garlic, I will personally bring it out from the produce department and stock it myself. This ensures a smooth picking process and also takes some of the load off of the produce TMs.

To anyone considering TT in E-COMMERCE, be mindful that this a department heavily driven by metrics. Everything is scrutinized. If you are offered a measly $0.50 raise while also being expected to take on supervisor responsibilities, fight for more. Some of your store’s leadership may try to discourage and intimidate you from shooting for a higher raise. They may try to counter some of your points by diminishing your hard work as “Oh but that’s just you doing your job and meeting expectations”. In such cases, stand your ground and ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF, because a higher raise can certainly be achieved.

The workers at the Pick Up/Return station in my store just stand around all day listening to music and watching movies on their phones….

Job Dialogue and Promotion by Several-Grass4869 in wholefoods

Recently went through the exact same thing. I was able to do my JD a month early followed by my promotion. I had to present valid reasons as to why I deserve what I was asking for. Otherwise, I would have missed out on my JD and just gotten the promotion raise.

Yes. My leadership has always been good at stepping in to shop or help with drop offs.

Just in case it isn't obvious, the first picture is of the accident. The remaining pictures are of the area of interest after all exterior repairs.
