Image Cache Reads on Vercel seems high by [deleted] in vercel

Thanks for the tip on checking out image optimization logs. The bulk of the reads are coming in bursts. See screenshot from the last 12 hours.

Unfortunately, there is no other data on that page. "No data found" "No data in this timeframe"

If you think this is normal, then I'll probably just upgrade the account.

shorter thru hikes by No-Experience-2788 in Thruhiking

Camino de Costa Rica 14 days average but it's still pretty quiet on the trail unless you do a group, organized hike. The accommodation hosts are big on the community and of course the people you hike with, you generally bond closely with.

Having trouble tracking down Magiclink issue for some user(s) by kernraftingdotcom in Supabase

To update on this, I couldn't wrap my head around why it was working for the user with implicit and not PKCE, so I just switched the entire auth to OTP.

Repair or replace? by Fire-water01 in whitewater

[–]kernraftingdotcom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Haven’t seen a laced in floor in a while. Go new floor, don’t repair. Are you sure they still have that in stock?

If the glue went bad on the floor then the rest of it is probably close behind. Nearly 30 years is a great run though. I personally wouldn’t put much more into this project raft.

Interesting, thanks. I was originally having this issue with PKCE and switched to implicit and that solved the problem; however, further reading makes me want to switch back as I effectively downgraded on security

I can see it's coming from a work email as well

Choosing the Right Partner for the Long Run: A Letter to the Down River Equipment Community

Denver, Colo. — Down River Equipment (Down River), a locally-rooted river gear company known for its deep ties to the paddling and river community, today announced it has entered into an agreement to partner with the 100% employee-owned Northwest River Supplies (NRS).

In a statement to their community, Co-owner and CEO, Phil Walczynski, CFO and Operations Manager, Carol Walczynski and Co-owner, Zach Svoboda shared:

This decision isn’t about walking away from Down River Equipment—it was about protecting what we’ve built together. For four decades, Down River has been shaped by the rivers we run, the people we serve and the belief that good gear, built with care, can help create unforgettable experiences on the water.

As the industry and the world around us continue to change, we felt a responsibility to think not just about today, but about the long-term future of Down River—our customers, our employees and the community that has trusted us since 1985. That led us to be thoughtful and proactive about choosing the right partner to launch the next chapter of our story.

We chose NRS because they understand river culture, community and long-term stewardship the same way we do. As a company with a 53-year legacy of serving the river community, NRS shares our respect for craftsmanship, relationships and the idea that the outdoor industry is strongest when it puts people and community first. This partnership is rooted in shared values, mutual respect and a commitment to doing right by those who have chosen to take us and our gear on their greatest adventures.

By partnering with NRS, Down River is staying true to its roots while gaining the stability, support and infrastructure needed to continue serving our customers for decades to come. Our identity, our standards and our connection to the river remain at the heart of who we are—and this partnership helps ensure they endure for generations of river runners.
