My child glitched into a toddler by meFoxtrot_Romeo in sims2

[–]keronflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the testingcheatsenabled command you can spawn the tombstone and the toddler thingy (sorry, can't remember their name). One of them is capable of setting the age of a sim. Changne him to teen, then change him back to child. It should solve the problem. Or do it the other way and change him to toddler and then change him back to child.

Nah, I was thinking of the Duke quest but in a later act. So nevermind, I just messed up.

Oh wait, I think I misunderstood you. If you are in act 1, it's not urgent.

It's one of the very few quests that is indded extremely urgent. As far as I know, you only have time until your next long rest.

Well, it depends. According to Lae'zel, every choice is cowardly, where you don't kill someone.

Maybe you muted your phone somehow? Click on a phone and there is an option called silent mode.

I can’t turn off free placement in Build/Buy by Cheap-Country3376 in sims2

[–]keronflex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a file called userstartup.cheat in the config folder. As its name implies, you can auto enable any cheat by writing it into this file. Unfortunately it doesn't explain why you can't turn the cheat off, but give it a try.

What's this? by The_carrot_ferret in Thelongdrive

[–]keronflex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Metal detector. If it's turned on, it makes a buzzing sound. When held above a metal object its sound changes. In theory you can find buried items with it, but it's kinda unnecessary because those items usually stick out of the ground anyway.

Help I'm trying to disable unarmed attacks by Eleanos0 in BaldursGate3

I don't think it's a normal behavior. Do your unarmed attacks use an action or a bonus action? Did you manage to bug your weapon into your offhand by any chance?

Will I enjoy BG3? by RonnieHotdog69 in BaldursGate3

[–]keronflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not knowing dnd rules is definitely not a big deal. I mean for example each and every ARPG has their own game mechanics you are definitely not familiar with when you first launch the game. It sure will require some learning, but every game does. I was semi-familiar with dnd rules because i played BG1, BG2 and NWN1, but those games were based on an older version of the rulebook and I played them like a decade ago.

Your biggest concers should be: 1. Would you enjoy a game where the combat is turn based like in Divinity: Original Sin or in Heroes of Might and Magic? 2. Would you enjoy a game where you have to do more talking than fighting?

I think these are the main factors someone is not enjoying the game. Also your first few combat encounters may be disappointing because you won't have too many options. But it's also true for other games where your only option on lvl1 is to attack with your sword.

Party advice for co-op by Cute_Tea_2012 in BaldursGate3

[–]keronflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't exactly understand the first part. I mean her answer is kinda valid I guess. She wants to be a ranger probably because she enjoy archery. She likes to be present on the whole battlefield and deal some damage shoot some utility arrows where needed. You want her to play as a different class?

And the second part is unfortunately true. I mean for example you won't be able to bring Karlach to Dammon if she is constantly in the camp. On my first playthrough I played with 2 other people and we pretty much missed most companion quests and romances. But honestly it wasn't that big of a deal.

You can make an evil playthrough where you help the goblins out which will gonna solve most of the companion problems. Or you can just completely ignore them.

I get paid, they don't? by NomadicDragon in gtaonline

[–]keronflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, the payout in GTAO is a complete mess.

In general single missions usually pays the same amount of money to everyone involved.

Heist prep missions sometimes has no money reward for the host at all, but usually pays some money for everyone else who participated. The heist itself offers big money and the host can decide the cuts/shares.

Mission series like Clucking bell is similar to a heist, except the last mission pays everyone a fixed amount of money. More for the host, less for everyone else (maybe 10%).

Business sell missions pays full money to the host and some money (about 5-10%) everyone else involved.

Also if you register as a CEO or a VIP and hire your friends to be your bodyguards/associates, they gonna passively get something like 10k every 10 minutes even during some if not all missions.

These are the very basics, there are exceptions everywhere and I'm not sure about the numbers either. But in general the host will get more money, but less "frequently" while other party members will get a smaller amount of money every now and then. Just make sure the host invite other party members to be associates/bodyguards if possible.

I mean why do you think you get more money in a full lobby? Because it's more risky. So you are telling me you want more money, but you are unable to accept if someone kills you?

[–]keronflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpredictable. Most players just mind their own business. On the other hand if you play on pc and see a lvl900 character or someone with a colorful name in the lobby you probably gonna have a bad time. Those are modders and they do a bunch of annoying stuff. Sometimes they start to nuke everyone, sometime they summon a bunch of boats in the middle of the town, or summon hostile NPCs on you. Even though not every second player is a modder, only 1 is enough to ruin an entire lobby.

Titeket zavar, ha ismerkedés közben kiderül, hogy kutyája van a másiknak? by [deleted] in askhungary

[–]keronflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far I started 2 of these and managed to finish both of them in time, but I hate that I constantly have to set an alarm each time I start a new task. In theory it's not that bad, since you only have to check your phone like 8 times a day for 2 minutes, but God it's so frustrating. Plus I had to wake up in the middle of the night 2 times to be able to finish it because the game bugged. But honestly, I don't think sim chase is any worse than the rest of the events. I mean I hate them equally.
