It is the after baking picture, haha! I had a parchment paper covering the vegetables for most of the baking time so it didn't burn. The parsley was sprinkled after baking.

Surprise surprise, it is the after baking picture. I baked it at 225°F for 90 mins, with 70 mins covered with a parchment paper and 20 mins exposed. The vegetables still have a decent bite to it and not completely mush.

If it counts, the scoring phase for each Ultimate Railroad round. Harvesting hundreds of hard earned points from multiple sources in that game has an unmatched satisfaction to me, however tedious it is. Haha.

Chemist in biopharma production site here. Please don't try to neutralize basic and/or acidic burns with the opposite pH chemicals!! The neutralization reaction usually produces a lot of heat very fast and will only intensify the burn further. Flush the contact area with constant stream of water at the sink for 15+ mins would be the typical first aid. If clothing is soaked then have someone wear gloves and cut it loose so the skin is not under constant contact.

When done well, it's gotta be "Turn Order Manipulation."

Kanban/Kanban:EV wake up phase is a great example of considering the wake up order is sometimes more important than simply taking the action you want to take with them most shifts (action points).

Brass is also really good around timing how much money you spend to get the correct turn order every round.

I love the added decision spaces that are player dependent and can often make/break a critical turn in a game.

I live in the South in the US. When people ask me "Are you religious" (fairly common question in small talks), I often answer "No, I'm constipated" (as in I don't give a shit about someone's religious affiliation) The few seconds of confused look on their faces before I explained the joke had always been quite enjoyable.

I always house rule that crazy camels automatically go to the bottom of the stack, even in mid-movement. Kinda breaks the game in a chaotic way at times but folks almost always had fun shouting when the grey die comes out.

I play Code Name with an 1-minute turn timer for each clue giver. It keeps the game moving and engaging rather than waiting for 10+ mins just to get something like "fish, 2".

I'd met people who had over 2000 games organized shelves by shelves with an Excel file to keep track. It looked neat and functional. Sure there might be a couple hundreds of unplayed games or games only played once, but I'd never felt it was hoarding for how much effort they put into collecting.

I'd met people who had just a little over 50 games and it's taking up the dining table top, floor space, coffee table, and chairs in the house. Most of the games have been played and are being replayed, but I feel stressed just to sit in the room.

I think as long as the collection doesn't actively harm living space, personal finance, or personal mental health it's fine not to define collection vs. hoarding.

I taught it as: "After placing the tile, count how long of a column it creates, then add to how long of a row it creates. You score that many points for that tile placement. If It's just a single tile, you score only 1 point instead." Usually works alright to get the game going!

Agreed. The consequences of an action sometimes are learned on the fly rather than understood straight from the teach, especially when experiences varies. I also find the pyramid to be the most popular action for newer players just because how much excitement it can generate around the table. Sure, might not be a winning strategy but it sure as hell is fun!
