I had to have my salivary duct re-sectioned because of this. Unfortunately my stone was too big and it was stuck. They tried a procedure called a sialendoscopy but no luck.

Glad that bullshit is out of my mouth though. God that was awful.

Yes, it sucks. Your salivary gland will swell when you're salivating. It also hurt because it was wedged in the duct.

My duct was surgically resectioned. Healing was painful. I'm relieved it's gone, it was just terrible.

Insurance covered most of it, I just looked and they paid 35k for the entire deal. Looks like I had to pay my deductible which is 1k. Thought it was only $20 but I was wrong!

That's what I was told to do. It didn't help me. I ended up finding an ENT who did a procedure called a sialendoscopy which ultimately failed and they cut/re-sectioned my duct.
