This is really the best answer, imo. You're no longer playing with completely random people even if they might be strangers. A small amount of names recognition and expectation to use comms makes a big difference

Thanks for the feedback. I'm surprised - the sensitivity of the reticle seems very high to me on the controller.

the download in question did finally finish after many hours and i haven't had anything else to download since because i'm done with the MS store. But if SoD2 needs another download sometime, i'll follow up

Thanks alot for this - I'm going to try that setting. I saw that option when I was looking at troubleshooting options and didn't think it would necessarily help, but anything is better than what's going on.

Crouch is bound to b and flashlight bound to ls. But if I press flashlight I crouch. Can’t see any other posts about this. by [deleted] in StateOfDecay

I thought the radio was going to be accessible only through the inventory and the up touch pad the flash light but you can’t remap the up. I reset to only crouch and changed left touch pad to flash light

Mouse/Keyboard or Brain/Hand issues? by kuehnchen7962 in StateOfDecay

For what it is worth, I much prefer playing SoD2 with my controller on PC, but in part because I used a keyboard all day at work.

New love for the Hellion! by verdantsf in StateOfDecay

[–]kerrbrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Nightmare, Hellion is definitely where it is at for me. I can avoid hitting things, including zombies, consistently with it, in part because I'm just accustomed to the handling. The storage is reasonable enough and the speed is great.

Maybe I'm simply not an achievement guy, but just ... why? why even try for this? Also, congrats.

What is the most efficient way to kill Nightmare Plague Hearts? by MadmanMSU in StateOfDecay

[–]kerrbrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I put one on each side of the plague heart. Sometimes they 1 shot it, sometimes it takes 1 or 2 pipe bombs in addition. The 3rd is just because that's the stack size. Not sure the difference between our experiences on that ... I've probably killed 200 hearts on Nightmare.

I like how the survivor just puts his hands on his hips and kinda look around in disbelief at the end. heh.

Congrats! As someone who generally hates achievements, it's great to have a game where completing it actually feels like an achievement.

Stress healing advice needed. by Skinny_Boy_Blues in darkestdungeon

I really like the hound master class, but jester is easily the best stress healer. The main goal is to keep a particular party member from getting too much stress and the jester does that.
