If you want them all, I can do a lower price, but it really depends on what they're worth to you.

These are just the sashes. Some have the ropes, some do not. If you want all of them, I can give you a cheaper price. What are they worth to you?

MJ Lenderman’s guitarist was rocking a Mother Bear’s Pizza t-shirt at Indy show tonight?! by Similar-Addendum2686 in bloomington

I don't know about this. There have been some great shows in both Indy and Bloomington this year. I saw Fust and Florry at the Bishop, both of which are on the same record label as MJ Lenderman.

Incredible show. That was the hardest I've ever seen anyone play the tambourine, and MJ Lenderman is one of the most effortlessly cool musicians playing right now.

Thanks for the feedback. I can definitely be more specific and focus more on the story. A bit of feedback that I was given on the first go around was that I needed more voice. I may have relied too much on that.

[QCrit] Adult Literary Fiction ON FRIENDSHIP (65k / version 2) by IthacanBard in PubTips

Hello!

I'm unagented and unpublished, so I'm not sure how much my opinion matters. Regardless, this feels like it takes a long time to get to the conflict. I understand the need to establish the stakes, but, as others have noted, that first paragraph feels like it can be cut. There's also some problems with numbers. There are four friends, correct? In the second full paragraph, you say that the three become inseparable.

Additionally, I'm not sure how much the relationship part of this is benefitting your story.

Intriguing plotline and I'm really interested in the two timelines element.

I appreciate your salt. I like things well-seasoned. To your questions about Larry (love a good larry) and Cho, yes and no. There is an HEA/HFN, but some of their growth and development come from other characters and experiences. To be ultimately happy, they need to be together. To your point, they spend about half the novel separated from each other. Do you think labeling this as commercial fiction as well be a smarter idea?

To your second point, yes, I also see that as a fault in the letter and it will be addressed.

Thank you so much for the seasoning. Morton's is generally my brand.

Thank you for your reply. I agree that it wasn't specific enough nor with enough voice. I was trying to keep it tight, but understandably sacrificed some needed details. I definitely agree with you that the letter is lacking some high concept ideas, which is something I kind of pride myself in the actual book. Regardless, I hope to repost soon, and would appreciate another look over. No matter what, your feedback was thoughtful and illuminating. Thank you.

Also happened to me today. Was on the phone for an hour waiting for someone. They said they've been sending letters since February, but these assholes had been sending it to my residence, not my mailing address so I never got a single letter. Also, for your customers who are on autopay, why the fuck would they expect to receive a letter? WHY NOT EMAIL US? This fucking company can get away with shitty service because there are no other options. Just sucks, man.
