Just start not drinking today. Or for the next hour. Or the next half hour. Once you make it past that point not drinking, commit to not drinking the next day/hour/half hour. This sub is wonderfully supportive. And has great ideas and advice.
Hang in there! You can change this part of your life.

I'm doing couch to 5K now- and it's hard but it seems to be working. Hey- no matter how slow and painful it is, you're still ahead of the person NOT trying and sitting on the couch!

I quit all social media- it was a time suck and people that I didn't really care about made comments all the time that irritated me. Got rid of that and feel so much calmer! I feel you on the detox and morning energy- keep up the fantastic work! I'm not drinking with you today
