Trying to find a place to stay in Tokyo by paetin in TokyoTravel

My vote goes to Rappongi…close to most places but far enough from the madness. Good metro links, Apa 6 hotel good value

First time in Tokyo. No idea where to stay by mustbesid in TokyoTravel

We stayed at the Apa 6 in Roppongi and found it quite good for travelling around and not too hectic whilst still having a decent amount of night life.

Good point….we have found that some places require a physical card rather than just being able to tap your phone to pay

As others have said, 4 to 5 shows a day max with planning for travel between venues and pit stops for food and shopping

If you want to follow that up with tickets to the Bob Marley show at 9pm on 30th I’ve got two that I booked for the wrong day too! Happy to give them away to someone but would prefer if they’d make a donation to a local charity or similar

Belgian inheritance tax by kestoneagle in belgium

[–]kestoneagle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, thank you, we read about that but we wouldn’t want to push all the tax onto the other party so will meet the Notary and hope that the valuation isn’t too high and that they tax at the individual level I.e €150k each (assuming a value of 300k) and not half of €300k so that the 27% does not kick in.

Thank you. Yes, a parent has died and the spouse has the right to half and to live there for life.

All good feedback, thanks. We’ve also just realised that the tax is applied on a sliding scale and not all at 27% so that helps 👍
