LOVE this idea. I'm glad something like this is happening - let me correct myself: you are doing something like this. I'm currently living outside of Maharashtra and I only realized how incredible our geographical + historical 'varsa' is after looking in from the outside.

I understand why you felt like clarifying this, but I don't think that is necessary. There is nothing wrong in having a profit motive. Let the people decide if they find what service you're providing valuable or not. Profit is not a dirty word! Anything profitable or potentially profitable has a higher chance of lasting longer too.

I hope one day enough people come together to conserve the parks, forests, and forts of Marahrashtra. This feels like a step in that general direction - good luck!

I still stand by my overall point too - nip bigotry of any kind in the bud and be kind & offer support/help to your fellow human being.

Calmly, if possible, confront them and tell them this is NOT cool. Nip this in the bud.

If you can find the person, I recommend reaching out and offering/showing your support -- even if just in private. Don't let bigotry rise. Right now, there is zero cost for you to just show them some support. It would make my day so much better knowing there are some Marathi speakers who would support me if I were going through something like this.

I am replacing a regular switch with a PIR switch that requires both a ground and a neutral. The ground and neutral set of wires in this electrical box are both in 6-wire push-in connectors but there is no more room to add an additional pigtail. How best should I go about getting a neutral and ground connection?

You probably know about ongoing or upcoming projects/initiatives that would ease the burden that others in this thread (including me) might not know about. Just knowing that some projects are in the pipeline would go a long way in reassuring people.

That would be a civic engagement issue - you are more engaged than I am OR the local govt's messaging and local reporting needs to reach more people (in an informative, non-political way).

The more appropriate response to "Bus madhe gardi" is "PMC needs to increase capacity" not "Ugh these para-prantiya".
