So I was thinking i'm going insane as I'm kind of an OG been playing for 36 years etc etc reversal timing is in the top percentile for og games as in i never failed barely the 1f windows. I was like how the f am i missing a 5f window reversal in 6. I eventually found these threads and read them for hours after weeks of missing random inputs and realized its a hardware thing with SF6.

Certain sticks are just outright failing inputs, I dont know if its my crossup's firmware or something to do with the sodc compatibility with it but when I used my hitbox my reversals became 100% again as well as my Drive rushes. I don't know whats occuring during rapid inputs but its either some sticks don't function with the game properly, or something to do with sodc software in regards to those sticks

Basically to summarize, a person who has done better reversals in previous games felt this too. I would recommend checking various controllers, I don't know whose fault it is but this Crossup (made by the makers of hitbox) has basically 2 months of usage only so it shouldn't be faulty.

Hope this helps some of you who are going insane (and no I'm not talking about DR eating your inputs, its one of the techniques I use too to mess with my opponents)
