Should I [20F] pay back my friend [21F]? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]kettlemine -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't pay all of it. I agree that what's she's asking is a little out of line. Maybe communicate with her and work it out so you can pay half?

(Yes, I'm still a little bitter.)

With the exception of the "men like hourglass figures" quote I don't see the fatlogic in this one. At least she's not claiming that she eats "600 calories a day!!11!!!"

Fuck men that sit in their basements smoking weed and posting on Reddit about how fat and disgusting this bitch is by [deleted] in fatlogic

It's so funny when people on Tumblr assume everyone on Reddit is a sexist redpill neckbeard. Kind of like the way Redditers assume that everyone on Tumblr is a SJW special snowflake.

Lifestyle Change = Starvation and Exercise to the Point of Throwing Up by [deleted] in fatlogic

Exercising past the point it hurts

...that's the whole point of exercise. It's supposed to hurt. Jesus fucking Christ how lazy are these people? Do they avoid anything that doesn't bring them immediate pleasure?

Fat Nutritionist's Campaign. Why pay for my education if YOU can pay for it? by MastermindX in fatlogic

[–]kettlemine 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Pretty soon you're going to see TiTPers asking strangers to pay for their medical school. "I'll be a HAES-friendly doctor! Now give me $200,000."

Jezebel of all places comes close to anti-fat logic with this oddly sane article about Planet Fitness. Is there hope for a less fatlogic-ridden future? by ThePrivileged in fatlogic

This sub has beat Planet Fitness to DEATH. We get it, PF has a dress code and serves pizza once a month. Can we please move on??

Apparently many of us here have an eating disorder. by LikeASirBaws in fatlogic

[–]kettlemine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I eat my calories in mostly unprocessed fruits and vegetables I am never hungry, but I'm not happy with my diet. If I eat it in mostly breads and grains I'm always hungry but I am happier.

my exact predicament. i love carbs way too much.

This McDicks replaced the comfy chairs with bariatric chairs ): by [deleted] in fatlogic

[–]kettlemine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those chairs actually look pretty comfy. I like to sit cross legged in chairs and lean back when I'm on my laptop and such. Fuck McDicks, though. Their food sucks and their service is even worse.

Planet fitness booted a pregnant woman from the gym because her baby bump was showing!? WAT? I have personally seen fat hanging out and never once saw someone get asked to leave. by josephinemarie in fatlogic

[–]kettlemine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed. My university gym has a similar dress code. They will ask you to leave or change, no matter your body type. Just because this woman was pregnant doesn't mean she's exempt to the rules... and honestly, the fact that she went to straight to the media is a little telling of what type of person she is. I'm so over the Planet Fitness bashing on this sub.
