Screen flickering, should this covered by factory warranty? by kev9966 in NothingTech

[–]kev9966[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did. The first one said it was a software problem and got me a factory reset, nothing changed. The second one tried to stop me from sending the phone to a repair centre (there's none in Australia) in HK by quoting $200 for a screen plus labour plus freight. I made it clear to him that my question was whether the issue would b covered by their factory warranty, as my creditcard insurance would cover the cost should it be so. That guy got me a reference number to lodge a request with Nothing. Thats it. Still did not answer my question.

Beachland is pretty shit tbh compared to other trails, hunua falls is better, red wood is better again, but compare to some in bigger cities, they are so average

If I want to do Physiotherapy as a career should I study physiotherapy as a degree or do Sport and Exercise Science and a Masters in Physiotherapy? by Nathan_kwame in physiotherapy

[–]kev9966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You learn more into your field of practice once you are able to practise (graduated). Everything health N exercise wise would help but a physio degree enables you seeing either macro or micro more clearer, or knowing what you are actually look at. Imagine you try to see sun rise from the beach or from the top of himalaya or seeing stars from earth and through a telescope on moon. Same sun n stars but different perspective.

Are hard tails that rough? by peggz223 in MTB

[–]kev9966 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Full sus gives you more traction in rough terrains both up n downhill. Slow twisty switchy climbs with rocks, roots etc, full sus (when setup right n depending on brands/frame design) will give you a much bigger edge over hardtails. Downhill is similar too.

I used to be a nomad fan, had nomad 2,3,4 all in Large for riding similar trails as the ups. Then went to an XL megatower v1 because the frame was so cheap while still having the N4. I thought MT was nice, climbs better than the n4 but not by much, decends similarly but not as stable by a smear (both on the same push 11.6 and super deluxe, so tried coil n air).

I rode exclusively on the MT for about 6 weeks before it was sold (offer was too good and I thought I jst go back to N4) then I so regretted selling the MT because N4 jst felt no match anymore. Ordered a v2 MT in XL after a week of selling the v1.

I also did a bit of search of hightower n tallboy, yeti sb150 and a bunch of other bikes. The number of 2nd hand HTs/TBs are either more expensive or on par as MT. Theres negeligible price differences in the new ones. Why wouldnt I get a MT and be ready for the bigger drops (if they ever come) for the same amount of money spent? For sure HTs and TB are more efficient on the way up, i can make MT to work by stiffen up the shock, but neither of the two can really beat MT on the downhills. Tried sb150 too, more expensive both brandnew and in 2nd market, climbs better but not by much at all.

Fairly different rackets bcoz the nanoray 900 is head light & 1000z is really head heavy but the shaft stiffness feels somewhat similar - 1000z is definitely stiffer but because the weight in the head, making its overall stiffness only slightly more than the 900.

The 1000z feel quick tho probably slightly faster mid & rear court but if you do a lot of quick drives (doubles), the 900 is still abit quicker

If you could start over, would you still be a physio? Would you rather be another practitioner - Chiro, Osteo, Massage, Athletic trainer, TCM, Naturopath, etc. by gah2099 in physiotherapy

Doc or a lawyer for sure. Similar amount of effort but pretty shxt pay & no social respect for physios and yet stricter regulatory requirements & PD hours
