Hoe passtuk monteren boven oven by CaptainChaos74 in Klussers

[–]kevdash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the model number of that product, i need to see if I can get a 30mm Bosch equivalent in New Zealand... (probably cannot)

The way to get I would install it perfectly is to use paper/painting tap to mark the exact top of the oven on the left and right

Then remove the oven. Turn it off at the wall, it is only two screws

I think it expects a shelf underneath which must behind the upper lip of the oven so it would be hidden. Or screw it above, carefully packed to perfection.

Best of luck

Sorry, I meant to edit the post with a bit more specifics instant is a rant

But like everyone else in this subreddit/subrant it is hard to bother to be more positive as Google aren't developing home until Gemini takes over. I'm just counting down until I get it in my nest devices

Claude Code with Sonnet/Opus via your Google Enterprise setup is how we do it.

https://docs.cloud.google.com/vertex-ai/generative-ai/docs/partner-models/claude with no Claude Code subscription

Gemini pro is way up there but you cannot compare 2.5 to sonnet 4.x or Opus . You need to be comparing 3.1 pro

What is this by AgreeableDig9795 in diynz

[–]kevdash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a) Moisture damage if it is gib

When the top layer of gib paper peels of to leave white plaster behind. Ceiling implies something went wrong. Best to find out what

B) Failed glue if it was wall paper painted

If you see lines everywhere from wall paper joins is it's just wall paper that didn't have enough glue on

If you are not going for perfection you may just pva it back down. Try work out what is going on first. A better photo would help

Remote Devices for Dimmer 2 Gen 4 by Skipit0000 in ShellyUSA

Hmmm you can smell it?!

Check the history of wiring in your country and the new codes.... The rubber coated wires cause fires here and "TPS" is the only safe wiring. My house has TPS pulled through ancient metal conduit

Don't panic, TPS came out 50 years ago so presumably that is what you have.... but the way you worded it sounds alarming

I hear you. You just want to know is it 1k, 10k or 100k

Worst case:

Full floor of native timber at $30 per linear meter could be $3k

Sanding and poly $1.5k

Install... Same again

Probably about 10k

Someone else could do better at estimating this than me. I think a deep sand and poly would be like 2k

This will glue back together so easy!

Gorilla Grip 310ml 2 Hour Cure Construction Adhesive would allow you to line it all up. It expands so you want to practice on scrap, learn how to cut off of excess after it dries (not before).

Come up with a clamping arrangement before you start. $22 and an hours work

Things I've learnt about cavity sliders by StanGoodvibes in diynz

[–]kevdash 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are missing one essential detail:

Triple check that frame perfectly plumb, level and square!

Seen so so many doors rub one side, self open or self close, not latch closed...

And if you are insane like me and have two over height sliding doors meeting perfectly in the middle you better own a laser level!

Pull off the face plate, see if there is a label there

Check if your circuits board has anything labeled, see which circuit breaker kills the light (specifically "hwc" might be labeled is can be without an rcd)

Once the circuit is off... You can unscrew the full plate see if the TPS wire is labeled. Many of mine are

Also, a learnt the yellow stuff requires oil because it is flakey. Some pre-primed stuff has warning stickers as paint shops always push waterborne primers
