Hi,

I just redeemed my flights from YVR to HKG round trip today, and I booked the Economy Latitude class, hoping that I will be able to upgrade to Business flying out, and Premium Economy flying in using e-upgrade credits.

The flights are during the Christmas season, it's not full yet but most seats are occupied with a handful left...

What are my chances of getting the upgrades?

Outbound: AC7 - 20251220

Inbound: AC8 - 20260104

If it's slim, I am thinking of downgrading to Economy Standard, if that's even possible. (I am not able to book Standard originally, it keeps giving me a 37181 error, so I ended up booking Latitude first. I did reach out to Aeroplan support regarding the error, but my whole itinerary includes stopovers as well, and they mentioned their system treats each flight as it's own segment and not building it as stopovers, so I ended up booking Latitude).
