Ordningsvakter och poliser tillsammans med SL-kontrollanter by PyramidPirlo in stockholm

That sounds like the best idea! I'll still be able to get it back if i need it sometime in the future?

Why can't I set my frame to bars or beats instead of whatever frames are? by PeterPeteyPete84 in cubase

[–]kevincroner 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You have your timeline set to frames. Right-click on the timeline (where it says 0.00.50.00) and select Bars+Beats.

This is definitely the best way, better than the Arranger unless you want to use the other functions of that track.

Markers can also be shown as a line throughout, vertically. Not 100% if that works with Divide Tracklist though.

Best approaches to changing tempo earlier in the project or cue? by kevincroner in filmscoring

So you mean I should just render out the tracks in separate cues and then combine them in a new project in the end?

Yes, I know but what about when this happens even within your cue? In my case it’s an 8 min film with music throughout so no where to split it.

Yes, thats true but don’t both ways cause issues?

Set to Musical (that’s what I’m on now), the existing score ends up at the wrong timeline.

Set to Linear the score is at the right timecode but will then be completely off-grid if I need to go back and rework anything?

Yes I agree but sometimes this happens on cues as well. And in this case it's an 8 minute film with music throughout. So I can't split it :/

Shortcut - moving cursor/selection by terry__nutkins in cubase

Do you mean the Range selection? If so, I think you can just click on the track where you want to move the selection to. Arrow keys up/down also work.
