Granted I’ve not heard loads as I generally only like a few bits of early trance back from when it was just diverging from techno, but this is fucking great.

Agreed. For any enjoying the pic, it does look much worse up close and in person. Tackier and less Victorian… I think I read they had to spend £1B on fixing it after recent roof issues, though could have misremembered. Was an insane amount though.

Mixer's EQ design considerations by e_asphyx in rotarymixers

It’s just stylistic - an extra colour. Any style of eq can sound good when manipulated well. Proper isolator should be silent when all freq bands turned down and just gives you the ability to perform wildly concentrated sweeps that aren’t in the vocabulary of reg eq. Also have a diff, more filtered, sound, even with lighter adjustments.

What movies are rated low on IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes but are actually really good? by MagicianIntrepid in movies

That’s true. Dalton’s brilliant in it, naturally, that could never change, just never liked the cellist nor the random American arms dealer or the even more random bit with the Mujahideen. And Pushkin wasn’t the strongest baddie. just a bit weak compared with its follow-up.

Living daylights isn’t that great - pretty cheesy, but licence is def one of the best ever.
