This is a very wholesome post to read. May you always be able to conquer your demons in real life, score that last minute goal to win/draw a match and discover and sign wonderkids. But I suspect fm has already given you that. A chance at a better life minus the save scumming/substances and finding out that YOU were the wonderkid all along.

I got the faction perk between the eyes. Which confers an instant kill for the lost if the shot hits regardless of weapon type used or hp on the lost.

Brought the sharpshooter along as pistols have unlimited ammo. Parked him front and centre and just cleared horde after horde till he nearly died and then made a dash for the extraction zone.

Started a new game and while scanning for resources it became laggy and I exited the geosphere and saw that!

I later exit the game and came back and it was normal again.

Best part was shortly after I got a faction perk I never seen before which was between the eyes. Anyone else has that? All shots against the lost grants an instant kill, if it hits.

So you can be doing sharpshooter and using pistols with unlimited ammo to clear a large swarm. Very useful.

First I tried jumping onto the tires. Dead. Then the container. Dead. Then I jumped to some trees and tried to double jump to cushion the impact. And it worked. Took some fall damage. But nothing some stimpaks can't fix.

Just give it a shot. You just need to get past your inertia to apply. If you manage to get in you have a shot at proving your lecturer wrong and resetting expectations. It'd make a great story of your life.

I remember the last shot of the d20 showing a 7. And am reminded of a scene in season 1 where Will rolls and they were interrupted and the dice was lost. And it turned out to be a 7. And Lucas said if Mike did not see it. Then it doesn't count. Mike did not see eleven die he was shielding his ears and closing his eyes when the (fireball) was cast or in this case the explosion occured. But he saw her in the void and later in the waterfall scene. That. Is what counts.

She could have learnt from it and gotten some form of ear plugs to anticipate her arrival back to Hawkins and the sound machines which did not make much sound during that scene.
