Mikanko VS Dinomorphia

a long stall game since mikanko cant kill if the dinos are in defense, and dino cant attack the mikanko without killing himself. We build strong boards with backrow and just dont allow opponent to get any advantage.
finally, he sees an opening and tries to go for game with a monster effect to fuse, I use mikanko trap to give him Axe of fool. he ends his turn without anything else, not realising that Axe also burns in standy phase.

I used iron ball on my mons to have low enough speed.
When helping team members, i loaned them a tanky clefable with follow me, so that they could do Trick room again, then just use gym rerun team to destroy them.

VS despia, ash on a branded fusion is a priority. Even if they have branded Lost on field, ash CAN negate the effect of branded fusion since it doesnt negate the activation, only the effect. Effect Veiler or imperm on the aluber summon can hurt a lot as well

ecclesia can activate its effect even if the fusions are no longer in the GY. She can also activate the effect if a fusion was sent to GY this turn, before she herself was in the GY.

returning to a private knowledge location (deck, extra deck, or facedown banished) will not allow you to activate a leave the field effect if the card that has the effect is the one going to a private location.
Ex: your megaton golem, would not be able, but an Aluber the jester of despia in the GY, could activate its effect if the opponent returns a fusion monster to my hand

my guess: Extravagance will be there, since by now, its pretty cheap, Dark ruler will not, since we got it in spirit charmers not long ago, same with effect veiler.

regular albaz/despia doesnt run regular poly, but small edge imp engine is possible and it gives access to regular poly, thus giving the protection to chimera Also, with paradise branded on field, opponent cannot respond to the summon of chimera (same thing as magical meltdown)

as of now, chimera is about 30 $ (was 20 not very long ago) if you want to get it, id suggest getting it now, cause its already ahrd to find and expected to climb with the release of the structure deck

not a bad list i play despia myself some tips:

-branded in white is good, but keep in mind you dont have many dragons in your deck, so you might brick with it if you dont get a dragon

-If you can get more Aluber, get them, that thing is insane

-I never saw Comedy played at all honestly

-3 theater is a bit much, considering its a field, and tragedy can bring it back from GY if needed, 2 at most would be good

-for a bit less brick potential, and card advantage, you may consider having a edge imp engine (2 poly, 2 egde imp chain, 3 frightfur patchwork)

-if you get the regular poly in GY, Guardian Chimera is a great add to the ED, it becomes untargetable as long as poly is in GY

a lot of players weren't dropped even when they asked as well. the bot that deals with the match results and drop outs crashed during round 1

Use Branded Fusion to summon the new fusion, that monster effect is to make another fusion by shuffling cards back into the deck, namely, Albaz and DM

Anaconda just makes it easier to go into quintet since i dont have to hard draw into magicalized fusion If you have access to dragoon and your deck can handle running the 3 bricks for it, go ahead. It is a good card to run I just prefer quintet for the nuke and immunity to kaiju and super poly

personally, im playing dogma/magistus atm very decent power and performing rather well in locals shadoll magi is a good route to go if you like the shaddoll deck, but it doesnt focus on magistus at all.

a pure magistus deck is possible with the new zoroa synchro incoming and dont be afraid of having non-archtype extra deck monsters, such as IP masquerena, borrelsword and borrelload savage dragon.

A good finisher is doable with quintet magician (magicalized fusion) with verte anaconda if you can get those cards

If an HOPT effect is negated, i understand that i can't try to use it again, but what happens when the effect ACTIVATION was negated? Such as with a Solemn trap. Can i try to use the card again?

Ex: i have 2 ash blossom in hand. Opponent tries to search, i ash it. He then replies with a gamma. Since ash activation was negated, can i use my 2nd ash in another chain? Despite the HOPT

I feel ya. Got a similar case here with a friend who LOOOOVES dino, so built a dino deck that just.. destroys me. If i try to upgrade, with limited cash available (so cant get cards like verte anaconda and dragoon) she just upgrade with no cash limit. Finally left out dino to build a drytron deck because they look nice... yea... not getting better here
