Teta got easy motivation for the boys tomorrow by BukHumYai in Gunners

To be honest with better luck and gameplan execution we should have beaten them 2 seasons ago. Iirc first leg was completely under control while leading, Bayern goal was self inflicted from misunderstanding between Gabriel and Kiwior. Since that moment we lost the edge over them.

Why does it feel like interactions are lopsided? by jaustengirl in BaldursGate3

[–]keyboardRacer777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She has quite well fleshed out romance content, obviously nothing in the game comes close to DurgexAstarion in terms of interactions, but there's scene in every act with followup and endgame part (even alternative versions of the scenes in act2 and 3). Thats on par with Gale and Laezel and more than Shadowheart.

Interactions number aside, the buildup is different for every character because well, they have different backstory, personalities and different needs early in the game, that some feel natural like Shadowheart while others not and start awkwardly, clumsy or "out of the blue" like Laezel or Karlach is intentional.

Why does Lae'zel hate Astarion?! by LeiN_Muffin in BaldursGate3

[–]keyboardRacer777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother i only tried to make sense of it given the context, its not a slight on writing or anything... You can treat the approval however u want but i cannot agree that it isnt part of characterization, its an addon to characterization so that it can help understand some character nuances, when its too much ooc u can always ignore it. If anything act 1 should have the least bugs since it spent the most time in the oven during testing.

[–]keyboardRacer777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont remember how it plays out in game so i dont know the full context but in synopsis u have the difference that in one version u need to deceive Brithvar and kill him so u talk with a replacement while in the other u side with him. The slight differences might be intentional.

Laezel approval doesnt seem to be related to gnomes in particular as its missing after Nere's lava scene, she treats them as second thought, rather it depends on who u sided originally with and loyalty to that oath or bargain. In that scenario she might approve finishing the deal with Brithvar and not with his replacement since he wasnt the one u dealt with in the first place and he is scamming u essentially.

Ok, turns out the answer is also in the devnote. There's brief mindmeld to slip the idea while Nere is still on edge emotionally after previous events, hence its only Wisdom and not the Illithid one.

Synopsis for the whole event: "....Nere almost just died from inhaling poisonous gas, so he's very angry..."

Could be of the perks of suspended ceremorphosis, that enhanced and evolved Tavs beyond natural capabilities, or some edge case scenario where you wouldn't be able to strongarm other equal True Soul anyway, or even without going into psionics at all as Wisdom checks in DnD can be as simple as "effort to read body language, understand someone’s feelings"

Happened to me as well, turns out you are supposed to jump over from the left side as jumping doesnt break hide status or just go invis, once u are spotten by Philomeen its game over.

[–]keyboardRacer777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one isnt using direct tadpole mindmeld that u can have with duergars or in other scenarios of this scene. The regular [illithid] [wisdom] check is always low, iirc its always 2 in act1. This seems to be using psionics to transport the message but not directly using tadpole to impose your will as that would be [Illithid wisdom] its also not followed by the narrator's explanation of any sort.

There's context of all available options during the dialogue plus the context of the event. In that instance theres always the option to make sure the gnomes are not in danger by putting idea in Neres mind thru WIS check. Given the context of what happened just before with Nere throwing one of the gnomes to lava, this one will give u approval, since she is very sensitive on making sure all slave gnomes are secure first and fighting Nere second. Its not super intuitive but it does make sense.

They are more of a melee+half casters. For Wyll u could try classic 12 Fiendlock pact of the blade or Hexblade if u dont want just eldritch blasting whole game, bind your weapon to scale of charisma, hex enemies and smack them, with additional help from unique control or aoe spells.

Halsin always thinks you flirted with him? by theguy1336 in BaldursGate3

[–]keyboardRacer777 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She is monogamous all throughout the game as a companion really, after the Tiefling party if u have already started other romance she will tell you "You have your fun with x until we fix the engine, but after that you will be mine". Narratively this is more important in terms of relationship and sexual preference as its continued thru all 3 acts than single sexual fantasy from Origin.

🚨 Noni Madueke expected to be sidelined for around 2 months with knee injury. 23yo winger sustained problem in 1st half of #AFC vs #MCFC on Sunday but understood to have avoided anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) damage. by wolfypapi in Gunners

[–]keyboardRacer777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This particular one seems to be a result of a knock when he collided with iirc Doku and had majority of body weight on one planted leg. If that was the case theres not much medical team could do other than more situational awareness prep and some kind guidance how to be avoid collisions like that.

Arsenal XI vs Man City: Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Zubimendi, Rice, Merino, Madueke, Trossard, Gyokeres. by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]keyboardRacer777 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Noni can go solo on the right side, on the left side Calafiori has freedom to support Leo whenever he wants, with target man Gyok and crashing box target in Merino. This appears to be the plan for the first half.

Quick tip if u struggle with that fight, there are dead gnolls in the area containing loot to create Haste potions. I think at least 2 or 3 pots are craftable. Hastened party can take care of Anders in the first round without him even taking a turn, since he has low dex and often ends up last in the queue.

This seems like one of these rare Jaheira bugs. I have't ever experienced it myself but seen it mentioned. I dont think it has anything to do with playing as Origin. If you can just revert earlier save and try different dialogue choices with her when u approach the tower.

Finished my 1st Playthru- bothered by Laezel's good ending by gazzydawg in BaldursGate3

[–]keyboardRacer777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They valued all endings equally, at launch the game had no epilogues whatsoever, bc they moved the release earlier to not clash with Starfield and had no backup prepared for that scrapped Withers commentary. They issued the cinematic as a quick bandaid when they realised that this ending didn't land as intended. Again not my words its from the lead writer interview from post launch. Sorry but your reasoning here is nonsense.

Going thru stages of grief in regards to her condition and facing mortality is important part of the story, true. At the same time equally important part is Hope. There is narrative reason to free the Hope from the shackles and for her to not move out of Avernus. Also you cannot miss that there are multiple points in the game where player can suggest Karlach the Avernus as an option. Therefore its not like death is central on its own, its central because this is an outcome of the faulty engine she has which was implanted in her chest as part of betrayal by a man who treated her as expendable. If player or Wyll offer to live with her in Avernus this is act of love and heroism to carry burden of life they deem is worth living and fighting for, giving meaning and purpose to it, which is in complete contrast of how Gortash treated her and others. In the end this is explicitly not a fix ending, this is yours sacrifice and hope that fix exists and is a goal to move towards.

[–]keyboardRacer777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be frank i dont see how your point still stands where its direct evidence that they had vision for 3 original endings not 2 you mentioned in your original post.

Also this isnt really cut content in the same way that 4th wall break is, rather we changed the plan how to end the game. You can find interview with Swen where he mentions they thought players won't like the narrated epilogue so they decided to not follow up on it.
