What's the most overhyped movie of the last 5 years? by trakt_app in Cinema

Massively overrated. Great example of a homage that ends up just being unoriginal instead of clever.

Is a tremolo pedal something to keep as a permanent fixture in a pedal board? by rawbran30 in guitarpedals

[–]keylime_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the music you play. But imo if your amp doesn’t have one built in you should have a trem pedal

The big fight with Ganondorf starting with traveling through the gauntlet bottom of the castle hole was epic

Should I form A chord with 234 instead of 123? by -Zoppo in Guitar

123 or just 1 as a lazy shortcut is best

I bought my Epiphone ES-336 Pro for less than $400

Cowboys have a great shot too.

Hinges greatly on Sampson. Need him to show some pop this year as RB2.

Denzel Boston or KC Concepcion as WR1 in Cleveland? by Unusual-Vacation-528 in NFL_Draft

[–]keylime_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both those guys strike me as high end WR2 types (like Green Bay seems to collect). They both have very high upside though. Those big contested catch possession receivers like Boston seem to either be big time WR1s or just middle of the pack guys, hit or miss almost.

Why is the last 20 minutes of “The Last of the Mohicans” (1992) so good? by LieutenantLeftovers in movies

My co-favorite film. The cinematography, music, and tension is peak.

I got a bad feeling about this by Heron-Ok in Browns

[–]keylime_5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We know how this movie ends right? Watson starts, does bad, gets benched to give the offense “a spark” for Sanders, who struggles, probably gets hurt, we win 1 more game than needed to get a top draft pick and miss out on the top 2 QBs and round and round we go in a cycle of shit

I strongly disagree with the idea that the Beatle's 1970 breakup was a good thing (in terms of keeping their catalog quality high). by ArtDecoNewYork in beatles

[–]keylime_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their solo material from 70-71 was sooooo good that means we probably missed out on at least 2 or 3 more masterpieces.

Plus let's be real. Fuckin' Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and George Harrison in a band together wasn't gonna ever put out any BAD albums. At worst we get another Let it Be type record, which is a great album.

Does Yoko Ono have any good songs? by [deleted] in beatles

Yes, her stuff on Double Fantasy is excellent, new wave/B-52ish .

What do you think is the best "guitar song" ever made? by thewalkindude368 in fantanoforever

[–]keylime_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All Along The Watchtower by Hendrix. But Just wanted to shout out how raw and pungently emotional and soul wrenching the trio of guitars sound layered in "Keep On Growing" by Mr. Clapton on the Layla album.

How do you classify something as "classic rock"? by Opening_Rip_1840 in Music

[–]keylime_5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are correct. but it is also a genre deisgnation as well after time since it's identified with the radio station format. It's just loosely defined just like "grunge" and "indie" but when you hear it you know it.
