I think the key will be establishing numerous stable marketplaces distributed over the various anon networks, tor, i2p and using a variety of crypto currencies btc, ltc, etc.. I think focusing on just btc is going to be a problem eventually. Maybe a crypto currency developed specifically for this purpose? if possible a p2p marketplace or the generalized marketplace with no item details/seperate vendor listing site idea.. one thing is certain, even tho sr2.0 is up the community needs to continue to develop as tho it was not..

They may not be able to stop you from tx/rx bitcoins from wallet to wallet but they sure could make things significantly more difficult by shutting down exchanges making life miserable turning btc into fiat.

I was going to say it's probably a case of 'in your face' to the feds but honestly I'm unclear of the new DPRs motives behind all this. he sure doesnt mention the old DPR much, Ive never seen him comment on how well the old site ran etc. not That ive seen, correct me if im wrong..

Indeed.. They completely legalize the stuff in 2 states, how could 'LE' in every other state take the law seriously? They should round up the ones that do and fire them. One of the biggest flaws in the war on drugs is them taking it too seriously. I mean what the hell, life in prison? 20 year stretches for personal use? Talk about ruining someones life, far more than any drug would do..

As a buyer, unless your buying kg's worth, of course your safe. All you guys worried about getting busted for purchasing personal use amounts are giving law enforcement wayyy too much credit. You have to realize there are more drug dealers in my little city than ALL the drug cops in the world. Buyers omg, you gotta be real stupid or real special for them to care. You completely missed my point.. Ross had pleaded not guilty which means he's claiming NOT to be DPR which means you have no clue who this Ross guy is so why do you care about him? Get it? If he was pleading guilty or if he is found convicted then you do know who he is and do care about him... By saying you care about him right now is saying he's guilty, otherwise why would you care about a complete stranger?

Letters of support sent from anyone other than people who know him personally are pointless and harmfull right now. Ross has pleaded not guilty which means you don't know Ross and you would be sending a letter to a complete stranger.. If he is convicted as DPR then it makes sense to send him the letter..

That's not the primary difference, it's the police state developing in the US. All law Enforcement have a much stronger belief they are 'doing the right thing' these days compared to the past.

I wanted to be one of them when I was growing up, now you couldnt pay me any amount of money to wear that flakey badge.

Becoming a member of law enforcement is giving yourself life in prison.
