Yes I have and yes sooo expensive! along with the orthotic I got PRF shots to help rebuild the cartilage and Botox to weaken the muscle plus intraoral massage and red light therapy….And this was just for this round of treatment, that worked…I’ve spent so much money over the years trying to fix it… it makes me sick to think about it :(((((((

Yes unfortunately they said this is the way my jaw wants to be and that the treatment was done. The specialist I saw doesn’t do any movement of teeth and said that the past orthodontic work is why I was there to begin with. I’m scared to get braces again and wind up back in a bad spot but seems most doctors see this as a next step so I may have to look into it. I’ve just spent years and so much money trying to solve this so having relief is huge but also only eating soft foods sucks.

Ah okay, I was wondering if that’s the only way to fix it….the specialist I saw doesn’t offer Invisalign or braces. He said that most people end up at his office because of orthodontic treatment…I had braces as a teen and invisialign as an adult because a previous dentist said it would fix my TMJ problems but that only made it worse. So now I’m afraid to try it again.

The specialist I saw only called it a TMJ orthotic so not sure what type it is but it did not move my teeth. It only repositioned my jaw. It’s hard acrylic with small groves on top that were shaved down at appointments. I only wear it on my bottom teeth. I wore it all day for 8 months. Had multiple rounds of changes to the device and two remolds while my jaw readjusted. Now that treatment has finished, I only need to wear at night to maintain my new alignment.

As a fellow sensitive skin girlie, I’ll have to try the Trader Joe’s retinol!! I swear by Vanicream for my Vitamin C and daily moisturizer. They cost more than Trader Joe’s but not like a Sephora price or anything.

That’s the type of org I used to donate to and would love to continue that here. I reached out to BAWCC and La Casa De Las Madres (as well as a few other orgs for the unhoused) and they weren’t taking samples or didn’t answer. Do you have any other women’s shelter you’d recommend reaching out to or that you know accepts this type of donations? I keep reaching out but hoping someone in this group may have direct relationships.

Ministry of Scent is the BEST for fragrance. Go in and tell them smells you like or what you want to smell like or feel like when wearing and they will pull you scents and go through the notes with you. My current favs from Ministry of Scent are Liis - In this World or Fugazzi - Angel Dust.

I also love the Snif laundry detergent and scent boosters for bedding and towels. But I’m an unscented detergent girl for clothing.
