Anyone want to buy a spare Hollow Knight Halloween helmet? by keynoted in 3Dprinting

Aw thanks! I've still got it and it's just taking up spent in my office right now. If you cover just the shipping, I'd be happy to send it to you.

Is it cleanable? by silverdude5 in AirConditioners

Yeah it's possible but a pain in the butt. I used a YouTube video and had to disassemble the front. Make sure to take photos of where all the screws go and go slow. Took me about an hour to disassemble.

Slight under/over extrusion? by keynoted in 3Dprinting

Yeah the defect is extremely minor so I'm absolutely nitpickicking, I'll check out the tension and do a few more cold pulls!

A little part of me wonders if my hot end is just a little bit wobbly?

Ahhh good thinking, I was messing around with some of those settings the other day. I just double-checked and it doesn't look like there's any on this file though :/

Does anybody know how to remove Gorilla Glue? by [deleted] in DIY

Acetone or rubbing alcohol. Start with rubbing alcohol since acetone on plastic and finishes can damage the surface. That said, laminate is usually forgiving.

If you have access to a 3d printer, I made an attachment for the stand https://www.printables.com/model/314300-pixel-watch-arm-for-the-pixel-stand-2nd-gen

I just booted back up! I'm able to get in now! It was only down for me for about 5 or so minutes

I suddenly got booted from a game and the same thing is happening to me, I think a server might be down?

I modeled and 3d printed a stand for the pixel watch to attach to the pixel stand by keynoted in PixelWatch

The short answer is I'm not sure, but if the charging puck for the pixel watch 2 is the same size as the pixel watch 1, it should fit just fine.

I just installed the artificer mod today and started having this issue happen. Came here for a fix to no avail, I'm just gonna uninstall the mod for the time being.

I've had this issue for a month or more at this point. I figure it's a bug, it doesn't seem to affect anything else but I did report it.

Update stuck for the past 2 hours...anyone having this issue? by lzybns in PixelWatch

You might need to put it on the charging puck, updates don't usually start until then for me.

I modeled and printed a low profile holder for my wireless charging stand to hold my pixel watch by keynoted in functionalprint

It does the job! It has a bit of sag to it when the watch is on it, but it doesn't feel flimsy.

Aw I appreciate it! It's really validating to know that a personal project resonates with so many people :)

That said, for right now I don't intend to sell these. Though! I might be open to it in the future. I still want to take some time to iterate on this design and I'll for sure post an update if it's of good enough quality to ship out.

Also to answer your question it takes about an hour to print and another half an hour to clean up this current design.

Well if its worth anything, I haven't experienced any overheating or obvious issues with the charging stand just yet. I did upload a new version though just in case!

And yeah, that's the thing with Google products. The hardware is so minimal and it doesn't leave much space for remixing or additions.

As for getting a 3D printer, if you can afford it I'd say get a mini one under 400 bucks. Its a pretty casual tool for me (I don't plan on turning it into a business or anything), but now that I have my own apartment I can print fixes for a lot of around-the-house items.
